THIRD-PERSON POV

A couple hours later

Y/n was sitting in a jail cell chained to the wall, after their escape attempts the guards locked them up so they couldn't try to escape again. It's been a few hours since getting locked up in chains, and it's been horrible. Their back is in pain, they're staving and dehydrated. No one has even come in to check up on them. So when they heard the doors open they perked up, hoping someone was going to feed them or something. As the heard the sound of foot steps came closer, a figure appeared from the corner. They had a mask on over their face. So they couldn't see who it was.

"Come on human, the emperor wants to speak with you." The figure said. He opened the door of the cell and walked towards them. "Don't try to run away and or fight back. That won't get you anywhere." He unlocked the chains and held onto Y/n's wrists firmly. Y/n was too fatigued and drain to do anything, they thought that maybe they shouldn't have wasted their energy.

The two had been walking towards the emperor's room, Y/n didn't know what he looked like or how this would play out. But this is a whole different world so they might do a whole lot of things differently. Also since they were both in a brighter area They could see what he was wearing. He was wearing a golden mask That kinda of looks like a bird of some sort. He was also wearing a different uniform then the other guards so he must be the emperor's right hand man, most likely any way. As they approached a tall door Y/n grew nervous, he opened the door and dragged Y/n in along with him. As they walked in they saw someone sitting on a large throne. The room was big, yet mostly empty.

"I have gone and went to retrieve the human emperor belos." He bows. The emperor rests his hand down on the hand rest.

"Thank you, that's all I'll need you for right now." He shooed him away. He quickly left the room. Y/n just stared at him with a bit of fear. "So, your one of the humans that has come through the aisles?" He pauses. "I'd thought you'd look a bit different then that...but oh well." He stands up and morphs his body in undescribable ways and appeared behind Y/n they didn't know that yet. So they just stared at where he was. "But I do wonder." Y/n jumped and turned around to where belos was. "Who's the other human? And how did you get here?" Y/n started to back away slowly. "Answer me...I don't like being ignored." Y/n took this as a threat.

"W-well me and the other human went through a door then ended up here." They didn't want to reveal to much. They didn't want Luz to get hurt.

"That's all your going to tell me?" He said, an amusing chuckle came form behind the mask. "Or am I going to have to force it out of you? What. Is. Their. Name?" His arm stretched out into this dark green goo.

"Luz! H-her name is Luz!" They spat out. Afraid of getting hurt. But then they just outed their friend.

"Do you know where she is? Or who she's staying with?"

"No! No, I don't.." They said a bit loud.

"Hm, ok. You also seem pretty hungry, I'll have some food delivered to your new cell."

"Do I have to be in a cell?" They ask without thinking and immediately regrets it.

"Yes. We aren't sure of what you can do so we think it's safer for you in there. And if you stop trying to escape maybe you'll get a room. Now go I'm done speaking with you." He shooed them away, it took them a minute to understand what he was getting at, but they backed away and exited the room. The masked figure was there waiting. Once he saw Y/n he urged them to walk, and they did. They didn't want to get on their bad side.

The emperor was right about the new cell. It wasn't as bad as the last one. Atleast they could walk around the cell, but a little while later The golden guard (They had heard some people talk about him while walking towards the new cell) came with a plate of food.

"Here human. I was told your kind can't eat a lot here. So enjoy, and don't complain." He slid the plate in and walked away. Y/n hestently grabbed the plate and started eating.
