Chapter 27

June 29th 2017, 7:00 am

I wake up to someone pulling open my blinds saying something to me, but I'm too tired to even know what they are saying. "Can you just quiet down a few peeps maybe even close the blinds some."

"Miss Mel, today is the day your life changes forever. We have too much to do before 5." Andreé says to me my mom agreeing with her.

"Sweetie, your wedding day is something worth waking up early for."

I groan. Even if it's my wedding day I still don't like waking up early. "Okay give me a hour and I'll be down." The two mothers look satisfied with them selves and headed downstairs.

I start to draw myself a bath lit some candles and put on some music. Soaking in the tub I grab my phone and call Jon. Since everyone but us insisted we couldn't see each other on our wedding day.

"They woke me up at 7."

I hear a laugh on the other side. "What's going to happen when we have kids?"

"I have a feeling you will be getting up with them."

I hear Jon chuckle on the other end. "what are you doing."

"Relaxing. I'm so anxious, I just want to be married and on our honeymoon."

"I can't wait." I could hear the smile in his voice, and I couldn't stop grinning either.

"I guess I'll see you later. Love you."

I dry myself off put some clothes on and head downstairs. Grabbing my favorite Chicago mug I pour coffee and go out on the deck with my mom and Andrée.

"Are you ready for today?" My mom asks.

"I'm excited, I just want to be married to him. I just love him so much." I take a sip out of my mug and look over to see my mom and Andrée crying. "would you two stop? it's only a wedding."

My mom gave me that look, "it's more than that..." my mom trails off.

"Okay how about we head to the salon before were late." I say leading the way.

7 hours later im dressed, in the dress of my dreams. My mom is crying as I take photos for Jon before he sees me.

"Mel you are beautiful..." Andrèe cries, " Jonathan is going to be blown away by you."

"alright Mel, are you ready?"

"I've never been more ready for something in my life."
