-this story is set in 2016-

After two long grueling years I'm finally done with high school, packing up and moving to Chicago all alone. I have been in love with Chicago ever since I was five making the yearly trip to visit my Aunt who lives 40 minutes outside of Chicago. Chicago also happens to be home to my favorite hockey team the Chicago Blackhawks, even though I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota.

"We are going to miss you so much Mel." My mom Pamela says with tears in her eyes clutching on to my dad Drew.

"I'm going to miss you guys too, but remember I'm only a phone call away, and we have this wonderful thing call FaceTime." I said closing the back of my all black jeep.

"It's a long drive so make sure you get rest when your feeling tired, and I put a 100 in your purse for food or extra gas."

"Thanks mom" I said giving her the biggest hug i possible could, "I'm going to miss you dad, don't forget to text me during the Wild - Hawks game." my dad just nodded, then giving me a hug.

9.5 hours, and 500 miles later--

I grabbed my purse and a small box carrying it up the my studio apartment with me. I unlock the door, just praying it actually looks like the pictures. thankfully it did.

It wasn't too shabby, big enough for myself and all my belongings. The best part is that it came fully furnished.

Couple hours later I finally got all my boxes in. Then I decided it was time for bed. I had work in the morning, perks of working at caribou they gladly transferred me when I told them I was moving.

-Next morning-

I get ready for work, blue jeans and a solid red v neck shirt and a pair of all black nike free runs.

Caribou is a easy 5 minute walk.

After greeting all my "new" employees I get straight too work.

"I have a non fat soy latte with a shot of espresso for a Jonathan."

"That's me." I look up to meet a brown eyed boy.

"Oh wow, uh you're....."
