This man makes him furious. Hongjoong couldn't even sleep last night because of what happened. Why can't Seonghwa just do what he asks? Why can't he just respect the hierarchy, which is Hongjoong on this ship?! Does he think he's still in his castle protected by plenty of guards ready to sacrifice themselves for him? Ungrateful bastard.

Hongjoong didn't have to think about him nor talk or interact with the man today anyway. He was way too tired and irritable for that right now, he wouldn't have the patience to handle it.

The pirate went to the quarterdeck. From there, he could see his crew work, supervising them until everything was ready for them to weigh anchor and open the mainsail. Their first stop was Delos, an island not too far away to sell their merchandise and to pick up Park' servant since the island isn't part of the Queen's territory, yet at least.

Last night, he had reread the contract he passed with Seonghwa. He shouldn't have ever signed that contract without seeing the other man in person first, and did a deepened investigation on the guy. If he knew who Park Seonghwa was, he would have never even opened his letter. Unfortunately, at the time, they really needed the money to survive. On the other side, the Prince needed his boat, and it seemed to be a matter of life or death for him too. Now, it's too late to back out of the contract. He was stuck with him.

Hongjoong leaned his arms on the wooden fence, like that he had a perfect view of the deck under and the sea around the ship. It was quiet, sounds of the waves crashing on the outwalls of the ship and the mariners chatting from afar. He was dozing, lulled by the calm movements of the water until he suddenly heard a high-pitch laugh behind him. Wooyoung. Hongjoong turned around and saw indeed Wooyoung with Jongho talking to none other than Park Seonghwa, him again.

"Captain!" Wooyoung yelled and ran towards Hongjoong. "Is it true you let Seonghwa call you by your first name?"

"What the-" The Captain paused and looked at the man standing behind Wooyoung, a soft smile on his lips he was trying to hide with his hand. Hongjoong chose to ignore him for now, and landed his eyes back on Wooyoung. "What did he tell you?"

"He said that you went to his room last night to apologize and formally introduce yourself. You two talked and you ended up telling him to call you Hongjoong." The younger man explained. "That's so nice! Can I too?"

"No, I-" Hongjoong interrupted himself. He now has a great excuse to kick his ass. "Right... Stop acting like a 3 year old and go back to work. You too, Jongho. As for you, my new friend, don't ask questions and follow me." Hongjoong gave orders to everyone. Who does he think he is? He swore between his teeth he'd give him to the sharks if he could.

Hongjoong passed both his legs on the other side of the banister, swaying them in the void, using the wooden fence as a support, then let himself fall on the deck beneath, landing properly without hurting his ankles. He looked up to where he was only to see that Seonghwa was leaning on the barrier, searching for him. The other man seemed worried and shouted from above, "Don't injure yourself!"

"Why do you care?" Hongjoong laughed at the concern on his face. The pirate smirked and waved at him. "Come on, now it's your turn!"

"I don't and no, thank you. I'll pass." Seonghwa shook his head and immediately disappeared from his sight.
Of course, he preferred the stairs. Hongjoong waited for him, watching him carefully go down one of the main stairs of the pirate ship until he was almost in front of him.
