It had been a few weeks since the accident at the bridge. Alex and papyrus had actually kept sparring and training together, just no where near cliffs, or the bridge. Alex even joined papyrus when they went to train with undine sometimes. However, today was not one of those days, he was just walking around in Snowden.

Due to all this training, Alex's hp had increased to 45, while his AT and DF had both increased to 5. Most importantly, he learned all of sans spells. Alex was surprised at how fast he was able to do so, but chalked it up to being muscle memory, or bone memory, you know what I mean.

Two royal guards approached Alex as he was walking. "King Asgore requests your presence." Confused, Alex asked why. "He didn't tell us"

"Well, ok. Guess I'll just go then" Alex would walk the opposite direction of the palace. "Hey, that's the wrong way!" The gaurds shouted. "Don't worry about it" once Alex was out of site, he used a shortcut to the judgement hall, and then entered the palace.

Asgore was watering flowers. "You needed to see me?" Alex asked. "Oh sans, your here. Would you like some tea?" Asgore asked. "I suppose I would" Alex responded.

"Well then, come sit over here with me, I have something to discuss with you." Alex just nodded and sat at the small table with asgore. "I'll be back in just a moment" asgore left the table, and went into some back room. 'I wonder what he wants to talk about.'

Around 10 minutes later, asgore walked out with a steaming tea kettle. "I apologize, I had only just began making the tea when you appeared" asgore sat the kettle on the center of the table, and set two cups for Alex and himself.

They each poured themself a cup, and took a drink each. Thats when asgore asked something Alex would have never expected. "Sans, do you like the game undertale?" Asgore asked, throwing Alex off.

"W-wait are you-" asgore cut Alex off. "Yes, i reincarnated here as well." Asgore let out a sigh "I thought I was the only one until recently, when you began acting differently than sans ever would." A silence would fill the room, and the two would sit in contemplation.

"Does this mean that there could be others?" Alex asked. "It's a possibility, but your the first one I've discovered in all my time here"

"Wait, how long have you been here" Alex asked. "I've been here since asgore decided to start collecting the human souls." Asgore said. "So for years?" Alex asked. "Yes, I barely remember my old name. I'm honestly grateful that I'm not the only one that ended up here." Asgore took a sip of his tea.

"I suppose it would be rather lonely to be the only reincarnated one here. My human name is Alex" Alex said. Asgore would respond with his own name, although it took him a moment to fully remember it "my name is... Joshua."

From there, the two spent the entire day together talking and discussing different things. Alex came to find out that Joshua had a soul like his, except it had cyan splotches instead of black splotches. The most important thing he learned, was that they were two souls away from breaking the barrier. Only the justice and determination soul was missing. So it could potentially be years before frisk arrives. After that, Alex stay a little bit longer, but then left to home. It was night, and he was sure papyrus was wondering where he was.
