Riiing, riiing, riiing!
Louis groaned and rolled on his bed, rubbing his sleepy eyes as he blindly reached for the offending device that had interrupted his, maybe not exactly dreamless, nap.
"Louuu! Pick up your damn phone, I'm trying to study!" Lottie screamed, banging on their shared wall.
He banged the wall back as he managed to slide his finger to accept the call, not bothering to check who it was.
" 'llo?" He asked, once the phone was pressed to his ear.
"Lou! I got it, I got it! Can you believe it?! Thank you, thank you, thank you so so much!" Harry's loud excited voice came through the speaker.
Louis pulled the phone a bit farther, his sleepy mind still not processing what Harry was speaking about.
"Wha- Oh! You got the job! That's amazing! Are you excited about it?" Louis spoke as he realised what the call was about.
Once Harry went into the office for his interview he had to go back to work and it had been an exceptionally long and busy day so, when he arrived home, he had dropped asleep as soon as he entered his room and touched his unmade bed.
"Yeah! I am! But I'm nervous, too... I'm starting next week already! What if I don't do well enough, Lou?" Harry's nervous voice replied.
"You're awesome with the kids. You'll do great, Haz... You'll see" Louis shook his head, having seen Harry's photos before.
"Hmm... I hope so..." Harry muttered. "Umm... A-are you free Friday afternoon?" He asked quietly.
"Eh... Yeah, I think so. Why?" Louis questioned.
"Um... Maybe we could go out somewhere? If you want to, of course... It's okay if you don't, I-" Harry's stumbled voice spoke.
"I'd like that" Louis interrupted. "Eh... Is it...? You know..."
"A date. Yeah..." Harry confirmed.
Louis pulled his phone away and buried his face in the pillow to muffle a squeal.
"Lou? Are you there?"
"Yeah. Yes. Yes. Friday" Louis nodded frantically, glad that Harry couldn't see him.
"Yes, Friday" Harry chuckled. "I have to go now... I'll text you the details soon"
"Okay... See you tomorrow?" He asked, knowing Sam's appointments as if he was the only child he treated.
"Yeah. And thank you again for the job. I-" Harry spoke.
"It was all you, Haz. I'll be waiting for you tomorrow at 10" Louis cut him before he could start thanking him again.
"Bye..."
"Good night..."
"Yes!" Louis shouted, raising a fist up in victory when they finally hung up.
He buried his face deeper in his pillow and squealed again as he tried to process that that conversation just happened.
"Louis! What the hell is going on?! Will you shut up?! I have my first exam tomorrow! I need to concentrate!" Lottie screamed as she barged in my bedroom and pulled the pillow from under my head.
"Sorry, Lots. Go study. I won't disturb you now" I apologized, turning to face her and quickly looking away.
"It's fine. I couldn't study more anyway... Tell me what got you so excited, Boo?" She asked, climbing over me so that she could settle on the covers beside me.
"Umm... Nothing, nothing. Im sorry I disturbed you. What were you studying?" Louis tried to wave the question away.
"Ooh! You're blushing! Spill! What is it? Is it about your crush?" She insisted, poking his ribs with her long nails.
"Noo! And stop poking me with those claws of yours. You'll stab me!" Louis denied too fast.
"Oh... C'mon... Tell me. I swear on oldest siblings oath that I won't tell a soul. I promise" She pouted.
"You swear you won't tell or make fun of me?" Louis asked seriously, fiddling with his fingers as he sat up cross legged.
Lottie sat up straighter and nodded, reaching a hand on my knee.
"I've been spending some time with Harry lately... And we... We kissed... And yeah... And he asked me on a date this Friday" I explained quietly without looking up, my face reddening as I spoke.
"You kissed and what? You fucked him? or did he fuck you?" She wishper-shouted giggling while doing the hand gestures.
"Oi! You're my baby sister! Don't say that! And for your information, no. We just... touched eachother" Louis whined, swatting her hands away.
"Oh! Was it good? With your hands or...?" She questioned, hollowing her cheeks.
"Lottie! Go away!" Louis shrieked, pushing her off the bed.
"Okay, okay. But hadn't you been on a few dates yet?" She questioned.
"No... We just hung out and, you know... I-I don't know what to do! What if I make a fool of myself?! I'm a mess! I don't even have any good clothes! I'm awkward... I haven't even been to a date before! What if I mess up and he doesn't want to see me anymore, Lottie?!" I panicked as I started thinking about it a bit more.
"Hey, hey... Calm down, Lou. I'll help you, okay? It'll be great, you'll see..." She soothed, pulling his brother closer until they were both hugging closely.
"Thanks, Lots" Louis wishpered, letting his eyes close.
