It's a sunny day in prot ormos as usual it's bustling with people and merchants, I'm hear today with Alhaitham. He hasn't really been present for all the rest of the time you were here so it's a good chance to catch up.

"So, what's up this time Alhaitham ?" I said as I turned to the grey haired man beside me. He was clearly lost in thought about something not sure what is was though. No response came out of him. "Hello ?? Teyvat to space cadet Alhaitham, do you copy ??" I said as I walked over to him, I took one strand of his hair, trying my best to not be overcome with the urge to braid it. Well I guess desperate times call for desperate messures. I put my lip up to his ear. "Boo." I said blankly

Surprisingly that was enough to make him snap out of it. "Need something ?" He asked. "You~" I said back. "Talk." I said commadingly. Alhaitham looked back at me with an enquisitive look. "Why'd you want to come to port ormos so suddenly ?" I asked. "It was just a simple shopping trip." He answered back.

"I smell lies."

"No, you do not."

"Sigh, You know you can't lie to me so what's the point in trying ?" I fired back. Alhaitham gave me a conceding chuckle. "If you really must know the truth, Kaveh heard you were back so he wanted to meet you here." Alhaitham said. "-The reason you had to lie to me was because ?" I added. "Because- I was concerned. The time you've spent here, it's been short so far and I feel that he might-"

"take you away." he added quietly. I'm sure it was intended that I don't hear but, I heard loud and clear. Those words rang in my mind. I grabbed Alhaitham's hand "So ? That won't change how I think of you !" Alhaitham looked up at me baffled. "C'mon !" I said stubbornly. "Where are we going ?" He asked. "S h o p p i n g" I answered back.

The rest of the day we went around bazaars and market Isles. However there was one shop that really pulled me in. Glimmering rubies, Shcintelizing jades, all fell short to what caught my eye.

A bamboo hair pin. It's weaving was flawless, decorated using only dried thin strips of bamboo. Hung upon a string attached to the end of the thin bamboo stick was dried bamboo shaped like a lotus. Alhaitham carefully picked up the box which the hair pin was in.

He bought it though he didn't speak a single word until we were outside the shop.

"My gift to you, for being there for me."

Alhaitham wasn't the exact type to show affection the closest you could get is I trust you from him but when he does it's worth the wait.

"I'm just doing my job. As your partner, for studies, for anytime you need me even when you don't. I, Y/N will always do my job with Loyalty."

"It won't end, We won't end as friend."

"Huh ?!"
