Chapter 7.

My time in Sumeru has been fun but things have started to crowd my mind, things like how or who I'll spend my time with, what I'll do but everything just fades away sometimes. 

 "Y/N!" I heard Tighnari call from outside my door. "Come in !" I called back, as I crawled out of bed. As I got up the door opened I saw Tighnari with a small bag packed. "I'm going back to Gandarhva ville today." He said, his voice sounded a bit more- well less energetic. 

"Oh, right you said you were going back yesterday because work came to a hold up." I said as walked to Tighnari still half asleep. He cleared some hair out of my face and smiled at me. 

"You won't be able to cope without me so I'll come with you." I said as I shoved Tighnari out the door. "Wait for me, I'll be there soon." I yawned.

I didn't have to see him to know his expression. As soon as I walk out that door he's gonna come charging at me insisting I stay behind or he can go by himself, but truly I don't there's been a single time I've listened to his warning now that I think of it. 

Once I finished changing to my surprise Tighnari was still waiting for me out the door though more expectedly with a argumentative expression. "Move it old man." I said as I pushed Tighnari out the door, knowing Tighnari for a long time he had to listen to me before deciding to complain.

12 Years Ago

Ever since I was little there has always been someone by my side.

The Sumeru roses were in full bloom, the sky was a crystal blue color. However my life was lacking. 

"Y/N, we need help!" Because my hearing was better than others because my skills were better than others I was considered abnormal. I got by on my looks alone. 

Until one day I ran away I was ambushed by Fatui as a victim of Elezar and a soon-to-be test subject of the Archon residue that's when... My Electro vision appeared. A sudden surge of Electro rushed through my inner soul. 

I found myself standing in a pile of blood.

Terrified by what I had done, I ran into the forest. "Am I too young for this ?" I crouched down beside a tree hollow soiling my 'holy' garment my so called 'worshipers' gave as an offering to me.

 "Hey ! over here !" A voice ? "C'mon you big lummox raise your head and look up!" And I did so. Standing before me was a boy about my age he the most unusual pair of ears sticking out from his head. Two Emerald-green strands of hair smack-dab-in the middle of his two fox like ears. As for the rest of his hair... Why does it look like he put a bowl on his head and just cut around it ?

"Who are you ?! My stalker !?!" I shouted.

 "wHo'Re yOu ?! mY StaLKeR" He said in a mocking voice. "Hehe~" WHY AM I LAUGHING ? HE'S MOCKING ME SO WHY DOES JUST HEARING HIS VOICE MAKE ME SO HAPPY ? 

"Aside from that you look pretty hurt to me. What happened ?" He asked in a curious tone "I do ?" Oh, the blood... "C'mon I'll take you back to my village" The boy said as he started to drag me by my hand. Where is he taking me ? AND WHY IS HE JUST MINDLESSLY SPOILING MY DRESS ?

 "WAIT! How can you have so much faith in someone you don't even know the name of ? Besides I don't even know your name..." 

I trailed off, but I gaped into his hazel fading into jade eyes looking a bit embarrassed "Because you look really pretty and honest. For some reason just looking at you makes me feel happy. I don't know what this feeling is. So I wanna hang out with you to try and understand. If my name is what you're after it's Tighnari" 

Tighnari said with the most sincere voice I have ever heard. "Oh okay. My name is Y/N" We didn't talk for the rest of the Tighnari was dragging me to his village. "Here we are !" He said proudly. "So where are your parents ?" I asked him. No reply. UH OH WELP LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE CROSSED THE DANGER ZONE Y/N SAY YOUR PRAYERS.

That's what I felt like saying because he let out the lowest growl I think his tiny little body could get out, But he didn't instead he looked at me and FOR SOME REASON BURST INTO TEARS

. WHAT DO I DO !?!?!?!?!? HOW DO YOU CALM A TINY LITTLE FOX. FEED IT ? GIVE IT SOMETHING TO PLAY WITH ?!!?! 

I scannned my surroundings trying to think of something to help the situation the I saw a patch of flowers. I quickly rushed over and picked a bunch. I very skillfully prepared something. "Ehh~? What's this ?" Tighnari said still sniffling with tears in his eyes. 

"It's for you dummy." I said as I hovered a flower crown filled with Pardisarahs and Sumeru roses. The very moment the crown slipped through his ears. Before I knew it we were standing in patch of pure and warm rays of sunlight. Like the Dendro archon herself came to bless us with warmth.

"Hey Y/N."

"Yeah?"

"I think I like you a lot."

"Really ? Well I know I like you a lot."
