(Just a little short I felt like writing, haha. Hope you enjoy it!)

Sitting on the rough ground of the prison cell, your eyes remained wide as you stared at the floor beneath you, still unable to process your current situation. However, the little sniffles and shuffles from the Gelfling prisoners around you kept you reminded of how you were now considered a so-called "traitor" to the Skeksis. Narrowing your eyes, you cursed yourself for falling into the hands of the lords, blinded by their praises and gifts. How could you be so stupid?...

Footsteps echoed through the hall, freezing everyone in their place as tension rose in the small cell. Mentally preparing yourself, you clenched your fists and continued to gaze at the floor.

"(Y/N)" A familiar voiced called your name. Quickly lifting your head up, your (e/c) eyes met Seladon's pale yellow ones. You'd recognize her determined tone anywhere. Springing up, you rushed to the jail cell bars, pushing past a few Gelfling who glared at her bitterly.

"Seladon! Are you ok? Oh, you have no idea how glad I am to see you." You sighed in relief. "You gotta get us out of here. The Skeksis are doing horrible things, they need to be stopped! And...hey, are you alright?" You noticed Seladon's sharp facial expression and raised a brow, confused. Her piercing dirty look remained unwavered.

"I thought you were different, (Y/N). I really believed you understood my hardships," She lowered her head, her voice cracking slightly. "But you're just the same all these renegades." She spit, her tone seethed as she shot you a hateful glare. You almost fell backwards, completely taken aback.

"W...what do you mean? I'm not a renegade, and neither are all these prisoners with me. The Skeksis are the real traitors!" You exclaimed, hurt by her unexpected words. This has to be some sort of sick joke, right?...you thought to yourself.

"Blasphemy!," She raised her voice. Her eyes were glossy with tears. "I refuse to give in to these rumors, to this uprising, to this, this...chaos! You...no, all of you know nothing of the lords! You believe in lies." Little teardrops slid down her cheeks as she shouted. "And to think for one second I trusted that you were by my side." Seladon turned to you with the most detestation you'd ever seen in a person.

"Seladon..." Was all you could mumble. She snapped her eyes shut and turned her head away from you, ignoring you as she scampered off. You knew Seladon had a lot of emotional difficulties in her family. She'd told you all about how Brea was her mother's favourite, but you suspected that all she wanted was her mother's love and attention. All you wished was to care for Seladon and be there for her. Now she simply concluded you didn't care about her, and that you were a traitor?

A headache pounded within your skull, distress clouding your mind. Sinking onto the floor once again, tears pricked at the corner of your eyes, feeling utterly helpless.
