short little blurb for Mother's Day
to everyone that has a bad mother, who doesn't have a mother, or who has never known their mother, this day is a sucky thing. trust me, I would know. but im here for all of you, and im proud of you for putting up with everything you do.

The sun filtered through the blinds, casting rays of light against Bonnie's tan skin.

She glanced over at the clock. 7:30AM. She rolled over & shook Marceline awake. "Happy Mother's Day, love."

Now Mother's Day may seem like a small event, but for the two girls it was a day of celebration. It marked the anniversary of the day they adopted their first child.

They had filled out mounds of paperwork, spent countless hours finding an adoption agency that would accept them, and cried over every child they couldn't adopt.

But finally, after months of trying, they were rewarded with a small baby girl. She was three years old, and one of the shyest children they had ever met. But she was theirs.

Marceline smiled and kissed her partners nose. "Happy Mother's Day babe."

"Happy Mother's Day!" A small voice cried out from the door. The child climbed up onto the bed and cuddled into Bonnie's arms. "I love you mom." She glanced at Marceline. "And I love you mommy"

Bonnie & Marcy shared a smile, and replied quietly to the girl "I love you, too".
