The squad are in the Bullpen as Jake controls a drone, trying to get rid of Scully's shoes as they're stinking up the room.

"Careful!" Amy tells him.

"You only get one shot at this, Peralta." Rosa warns him.

"Don't worry. I know what I'm doing. I saw the first 15 minutes of The Hurt Locker." Jake informs them.

Amy starts to rush him, "Hurry! The stench is too much. We gotta get those shoes outta here."

"How much time do we have?" Rosa asks.

Jake continues to focus on driving the drone, "Scully ate his pot pie 30 minutes ago, so we probably got 10 minutes left on this nap. 12 if he's turkey tired. All right, come to papa"

Scully moves his leg in his sleep causing the drone to get stuck, "It's trapped. Abort mission."

"I have an idea..." Charles says, running off. He comes back with a bomb suit and starts to put it on. When he's set up Evelyn walks up to him and pats him on the shoulder, "You're a brave man, Boyle. Make us proud."

He walks towards Scully and uses a grabber to pick up the shoes and takes them to the car park with everyone else following.

"Let's send these shoes to hell." Jake says, pressing a button and blowing up the shoes, which doesn't help at all. Everyone starts coughing and gagging, "Oh, wait. Yeah, just smells worse than before. Oh... Ugh! Abort!"

                            ~~~~~~
Amy, Charles, Rosa, and Evelyn walk into the precinct the next day to see Jake already sat at his desk with a coffee. Amy looks shocked, "Whoa! Why are you here before me? Am I asleep? Is this a dream?"
"I am early because Jimmy Brogan is here today." Jake explains.
"Why do you care so much about some old reporter?" Rosa asks.
Jake looks offended at her question, "Some old reporter? Is the sky just some big blue hat that the world wears?"
"No. And no one has ever thought that." Evelyn tells him.
"My point exactly. Jimmy Brogan wrote The Squad about badass New York cops in the '70s. It's the best book I've ever read, and I've read 15 books." Jake brags.
Amy looks unimpressed, "50 books is not a lot. Wait... You said 15?"
"I might start giving you mandatory reading, you're missing out." Evelyn tells him.
Jake begins to explain why he's so excited, "The Squad is what made me decide to become a Detective. And it was my first book report. Fun side note... I late lost my virginity to Mrs. Stratton's daughter. It was... very fast."
"Nice." Charles says, earning confused looks from everyone.
                           ~~~~~~

Evelyn and Rosa walk into the briefing room and sit down as Terry starts talking, "All right. Everyone's here. Today we're gonna work on our courtroom demeanor."

"Pass." Rosa says getting up to leave

Terry stops her, "This seminar is not optional, Diaz. You're testifying in an aggravated assault case tomorrow. The D.A. is worried about how you present yourself on the stand."

"Why? I'm fine on the stand." Rosa claims, earning a disagreeing look from her girlfriend, "Honey, you've called the jury "dum-dums", told an upset woman to stop crying, and threaten to break the stenographer's fingers."
