It's early in the morning when Evelyn starts to stir awake. The first thing she feels is an arm tightening around her waist, she turns over and comes face to face with Rosa, who already has her eyes open looking at her girlfriend.
"How long have you been awake?" Evelyn asks her with a husky voice.
Rosa ignores the surge of heat that travels through her body, a reaction to the redheads morning voice that hasn't dulled over the years.
"Not sure, I was little preoccupied." Rosa answers in a whisper.
Evie's lips grow into a smirk, "You were staring at me, weren't you?"
The smirk brings Rosa's attention to her girlfriend's lips as she responds, "How could I not?"
Rosa then leans towards Evelyn's face and plants a long, loving kiss on her lips. The two continue to trade kisses for several minutes before they slowly start to turn more heated and desperate. Rosa moves her head to side and uses her mouth to find the redhead's weak spot just below her ear. Evelyn sighs in satisfaction.
Before they can continue however, both of their alarms blare. The moment being ruined, the couple groan in annoyance.
Evie sits up and tells her girlfriend, "You jump in the shower first, I'll make a start on breakfast."
As she moves to get out of bed, Rosa grabs her arm and softly pulls her back down. Hovering over her, Rosa suggests with a seductive smirk, "Or we can both jump in the shower. No alarms in the bathroom."
Evelyn leans up and gives the Latina a brief kiss before saying, "Trust me, I would love to get wet with you, but we have forty minutes to get to work."
Rosa chuckles at the redhead's double meaning and let's her get out of bed.

At the precinct, the squad are gathered at Jake's desk talking about their favourite cop movies.
"For the last time, the best cop movies, in order: Training Day, Lethal Weapon, and Fargo. End of discussion." Amy voices her opinion as she counts them on her fingers.
Jake disagrees, "Die Hard is the best cop movie of all time. One cop heroically saving the day while everyone else stands around and watches. It's the story of my life."
"Yeah, until the paperwork needs doing. Suddenly you're the one who needs saving." Evelyn smiles at him sarcastically
"Okay, what's your choice then Ev?" Jake asks curiously.
"Men in black. And before any of you say it doesn't count, it definitely does. They're just intergalactic cops. Plus I never watch serious cop films, I already have that stuff at work. Why would I also want to watch it for entertainment?" Evelyn states
Before anyone can comment on either of those points, Charles gives his choice, "I like Turner & Hooch. Tom Hanks, reluctant friendship with a dog. That hits me where I live." He finishes pointing at his heart.
"No, Robocop. It's got everything I like, gratuitous violence." Rosa says, the reasoning being shorter than most expected.
"Oh, I thought you were listing things." Jake says curiously.
"She was, that's the list. Makes it very easy to choose a film at home." Evelyn comments.
"Okay" Jake drops the subject.
Gina walks over wanting to give her input, "Let's talk Bad Boys. That's the perfect cop movie. Mr. Smith, lookin' fine. A hot cup of Tea Leoni. Come on."
