____________________I walked around the school, and then something caught my attention, a sign that said Library. Without thinking much, I went in.
The moment I stepped inside, my jaw dropped. It was huge… and beautiful.
I wandered slowly, glancing at every detail and design of the place. The silence, the scent of old books, the cozy lighting it all felt surreal. I strolled past shelves, letting my eyes skim over the titles. After a minute or two of roaming, I decided to head out. As I stepped back outside, the bell rang.
Good thing it was just lunch break—no need to panic.
I looked around the area, trying to figure out which hall would lead me to the cafeteria. Then I noticed a bulletin board nearby with a full map of the school.
Dang, this place is huge.
I studied the map: left, then right, then straight… okay, got it. Just in case, I took a quick photo of the directions on my phone
After a few turns, I finally found it.
The cafeteria was pretty big too. I scanned the room, looking for Canada, and eventually spotted him sitting with two others, probably his friends.
I walked past a few students and headed his way, tapping him on the back. He jumped a bit.
"Ah- Philippines! I mean, Philip. Take a seat,” he said, motioning to the empty spot next to him.
As I sat down, he introduced me. “Guys, this is Philippines.”
"“Greetings. I’m Finland,” one of them said, smiling kind of weirdly.
"I’m Iceland. Nice meeting you,” the other added.
"Nice meeting you guys,” I replied politely.
"
Alright, guys, let’s eat. We’ve got gym later,” Canada said.
I unpacked my lunchbox, placed it on the table, and started eating quietly while they talked among themselves.
As I chewed, I glanced at them.
They’re so close…
“An Asian, huh?” Iceland said, raising a brow. I blinked, startled, and nodded while still munching on my food.
“You see over there?” he pointed. “That’s where most of the Asian countries sit. But sometimes they mix around with other groups.”
Ah, so that’s where the Asians are, I noted silently.

Minutes later
________________I packed my stuff back into my bag and stood up from my seat.
"“Where are you going?” Canada asked.
“Just… going somewhere. Maybe roam around the school,” I replied.
“Alright. Don’t be late for gym.”
I nodded and headed out of the cafeteria.
