"Hajime-kun, what do you think of this design?" He held up his sketchbook, showing it to his boyfriend.
"I told you, I don't know anything about fashion. Sorry, Nagi,"
"What did you call me?" Komaeda asked, surprised.
"Uh... Nagi,"
The pale boy blushed and smiled. "You gave me a nickname!" He hugged his sketchbook to his chest. "How romantic!" Komaeda kicked his legs in the air, excited.
Hinata chuckled. "You like it that much?"
"Mhm!" Komaeda nodded. "Hey, once I move out, what are you gonna do? Will you still be my bodyguard?"
"If your dad wants me to, then yeah,"
"Yay!" Komaeda hugged him tight.
Komaeda began writing to fashion schools. It took a while, but eventually, he got accepted into a pretty good one. The thing was, it was an hour away from his home, which meant he had to either drive an hour there and back every single day or he would have to move out, which both him and his parents hated the idea of.
"I just don't know what to do, Hajime-kun!" Komaeda complained. "I'm too young to move out,"
"I moved out a year ago too," Hinata explained.
In the end, Komaeda did decide to move out, but only half an hour away so that he could visit his parents easily anytime. Hinata moved in with him. It was very early, yes, but he did still have to be his bodyguard anyways.
Komaeda's parents hugged him tightly, crying. "You're all grown up now, sweetheart," His mother whispered. Komaeda sniffled. He didn't feel ready at all, but he had to do this. Everything was going so fast. "My little boy... I can't believe it. You're an adult now," His father said.
After a long, painful goodbye, they drove to their new home. Komaeda sighed. "I wish I didn't have to do this so soon. I-I only just graduated,"
"I know this is a lot, but you'll get used to it, okay? Don't worry, Nagi,"
Komaeda sniffled. "I hope so..."
They arrived at their new home. It was a pretty big apartment for two people. Of course, Komaeda's parents hadn't stopped spoiling him so they paid rent. Hinata wished he had that when he just moved out.
After a long, long day of hard work everything was set up. Komaeda fell onto his bed, sighing. "So... tired..." He muttered. Hinata pat his head. "You're right, I think it's time we go to bed. Good night, Nagi." He left to go to his own bedroom.
The next day, Hinata was woken up by a very nice smell and the soft voice of the man he loved.
"Hajime-kun, good morning," He whispered, smiling.
Hinata rubbed his eyes and yawned. Then, he noticed that Komaeda was holding a tray with breakfast and a cup of coffee.
"Morning..." Hinata muttered.
"Here, this is for you." He placed the tray on the bedside table. "For helping me move and stuff." He kissed Hinata's cheek.
"Woah, thanks, this looks awesome." Hinata smiled at him.
Komaeda's cheeks heated up in happiness. "I'm glad you think so! And I hope it tastes as good as it looks!"
"I'm sure it will,"
After eating and getting ready, Hinata and Komaeda went for a walk to get to know the neighborhood a bit. There was a grocery store, a mall, a bakery and a park nearby, which was very convenient.
Hinata felt so lucky. He had such a great, caring boyfriend. Komaeda and him went to buy the necessary supplies for the fashion school Komaeda would begin attending the next week. He got three sketchbooks in different sizes, a set of pencils, a few erasers and a new pencil sharpener. Komaeda decided to just keep using his sewing supplies from home since they still worked perfectly fine.
In the afternoon, they went home again. Komaeda wanted to take a nap and he wouldn't let go of the idea of doing it on Hinata's chest. Hinata wasn't tired though, so he just placed his laptop on Komaeda's back and watched a series while his boyfriend slept.
