Jess and and Joyce were sat in the back of the car, Murray driving the car on the icy roads in the near to pitch dark. Jess had fallen asleep leaning towards Joyce, away from the window, Joyce staring at the window for any sign of civilisation as it seemed to her Murray was driving them further away to where they were supposed to go. Joyce noticed Jess was shivering as her coat was not giving her enough warmth.

"Murray can you put the heating on?"

"I told you, this car is a piece of shit the heating isn't working."

Joyce took her seatbelt off and moved over to the middle seat, next to Jess as she took her big, thick coat off and after putting her seatbelt on she draped it over the two of them as she slightly ducked under Jess's head to lean her head on Jess's shoulder.

Joyce soon fell asleep leaving Murray to be the only one awake driving into the early morning. Early in the morning stopping at a motel, whilst Jess still slept in the back of the car as Joyce and Murray phoned the guard at the prison to update him on their whereabouts.

"Where did you guys go?" Jess sat up as Joyce and Murray got back into the car, Joyce getting back in the car again.

"Updating our little Russian friend on our whereabouts." Murray smiled.

"Course you did." Jess scoffed.

"You still don't believe us do you?" Murray turned round.

"Of course I don't! I saw my only family die right in front of me!"

"Jess, baby, calm down."

"No, I'm not you guys don't get it, Murray you were away doing whatever you were doing, Joyce, you were there with me but you were the one who had to turn those keys, I was the one! I killed him! I killed my brother! And that's why I don't look normal anymore. Don't try and deny it but when you saw me at the door, Joyce, you looked at me with worry and like it wasn't me you were seeing."

"Because you're not well Jess! Look at you. You've lost a lot of weight even though you were perfect before. You look so tired, I'm worried you might collapse soon, and not to mention you look pale, fragile and ill."

"Anything else you want to add on?"

"Don't make me out to be the bad person Jess I'm trying to help you but just like your brother you push any sort of help away."

"Yeah and what happened last time someone helped my brother out?" Jess opened the back door, swinging her legs round as she wrapped her coat round her body as the cold air hit her.

"Where are you going?" Murray yells out.

"To get some food, seeing as I look so thin." Jess slammed the door behind her as Joyce groaned in frustration.

"Girlfriends are a handful aren't they?" Murray let out a little smirk.

"Oh shut up Murray! She's not my girlfriend."

"Bullshit." Murray mumbled to himself.

The three finally arrived at their destination at what looked like an old garage with a rusty plane parked outside it, in the middle of nowhere.

"If things go sideways, I should mention I'm now a black belt in karate." Murray stated to the Joyce and Jess as they walked to the entrance.

"Great feel much better now." Jess's voice laced with sarcasm as they walked towards the entrance shouting out to anyone who might be there. Footsteps from behind them make them turn round as a man shows himself from inside the plane.

"Who are you?" he spoke with a thick Russian accent.

"I.. Uh.. We're looking for Yuri."

"Why do you need to see Yuri."

"It's actually, uh.." Murray stutters.

"It's a private matter." Joyce interrupts him. "Is Yuri here?"

"I'm sorry. I don't know how to tell you this, but you're a day late."

"What?"

"You see damage to thus hull?" The plane pointed to the hull of the plane as he walked towards them. "Yuri was on sightseeing trip to see polar bears. And then bears got into plane and pull him out of cockpit and kill Yuri." The man explained as Jess cocked an eyebrow at whether she believed the story or not. "And he loved bears. They broke his heart. Or rather punctured it with their bear claws." There was a moment of silence till the man burst with silence as he nudges Joyce aggressively making her bump into Jess's side.

"I got you. I got you good. I'm Yuri. I'm Yuri! That was great! You should have seen your faces."

"Yeah gasping for air." Jess gave the man a quick, sarcastic smile as she picked her bags up from the ground, with a big sigh as she made her way into the garage and making herself comfortable on the old sofa in there.
