George woke up to the sounds of sizzling. He called out. "Karl?"
"In the kitchen, making breakfast. Why would you drive all the way here? Just to see me?"
"Just to be with you. Plus, you did do the same thing like 2 weeks ago."

Karl and George ate one-handed, the other two hands clasped tightly under the table.
After eating, Karl was the first to speak. "I'm sorry. I was just overwhelmed and-"
George shut him up with a kiss. It was everything he had imagined, soft and warm against his, melting together like warm honey.
"It's fine, don't apologize, baby."
"Woah." Karl sat there open mouthed, just like when George had confessed. "So does this make us boyfriends?"
"Of course, you dummy."
