Flowers & Tea - Brance

Chapter 4

I wrote this right after chapter 3

(Timeskip to when they arrive at Vincent park)

"Is that an ice cream stand over there!" Bruce squealed. Vance laughed at Bruce and then told him it was. He suddenly ran over to the stand and Vance followed behind.

"Hello, what would you like?" The guy at the stand asked. Bruce looked at Vance who nodded and asked him to get him a chocolate and handed him 5 dollars. Bruce ordered himself a vanilla cone and Vance a chocolate one and handed the guy 2 five dollar bills one of Bruce's and one of Vance's.

"Here is your ice cream!" Bruce exclaimed at Vance. He grabbed his ice cream and then thanked Bruce. He glanced over at Bruce's ice cream.

"You're a vanilla guy!?" Vance yelled out. Bruce looked at him shocked and nodded and then continued to lick his ice cream. Vance looked weirded out and then proceeded to continue also licking his.

(Time skip to when they finish their ice cream)

"So remember that date?" Vance asked, looking to the side. Bruce looked at him and nodded and let out a yes. Vance could feel him turning red and burning up.

"Do you maybe wanna go on it Thursday after my shift at the cafe I work at?" Vance mumbled. Bruce grabbed both of Vance's hands and nodded. Vance smiled at him blushing.

"What time does your shift end and which cafe do you work at? I'll pick you up." Bruce said, smiling at him turning pink himself even.

"My shift ends at 2:30 and I work at Cafe Azul," Vance said smiling. Bruce nodded while letting go of his hands and then realized what place he said.

"Cafe Azul! I love that place. They have amazing matcha tea!" Bruce exclaimed. Vance looked shocked at Bruce.

"I'll whip you up some before you arrive to pick me up, it'll be on me," Vance said. Bruce smiled widely at him. Vance couldn't help but smile back.

"It's getting dark so we should head home. I'll see you Thursday." Bruce said to Vance.

"Yeah see you Thursday. Text me when you get back to your apartment." Vance yelled in the other boy's direction. Bruce yelled an ok towards Vance and then off they went.

"I can't wait for Thursday, it'll be amazing." Bruce thought to himself as he walked home happily. Smiling widely he never thought he'd meet someone as half as amazing as Vance is.

(Time skip to when Vance arrives back at his apartment)

"He's so perfect!" He groaned out as he plopped on the couch. He then turned on his phone to see the picture he snuck of Bruce as he was busy stuffing his face. He smiled at the photo. He quickly opened text messages.

"Hey did you make it home alright?" Vance typed and sent. Waiting patiently for him to respond. Vance waited 12 minutes and grew impatient waiting for him to type back.

"Yea sorry. I was busy showering." The other boy sent. Vance sat up quickly at the sight of Bruce's text.

"It's fine, I just wanted to make sure." Vance sent him. He smiled at his screen. He and the other boy started a long conversation until one question popped up on his screen.

"For Thursday, what do you have planned for us?" Bruce questioned him. Vance was shocked he had a plan and just wanted it to be a surprise for him.

"It's a surprise, Bruce!" Vance typed quickly back to him. He smiled at how interested he was in on Thursday.

(In Bruce's apartment)

He was smiling at his phone as he lay on his bed in his panda pajamas. He knew Vance wouldn't tell him anything about Thursday.

"Please I wanna know Vance!!" Bruce typed back. To him knowing he wouldn't get the answer but still wanted to try and get it out of him either way.

"No Bruce It's a surprise. I'll see you Thursday. I'm gonna get some sleep. Goodnight!" Bruce quickly read the text and smiled at it.

"Fine Vance! I'll see you. Get some good rest Goodnight!" Bruce sent back. Bruce rolled over in his bed and got under his blankets, rolled over, and fell asleep. He wanted to fall asleep quickly just for Thursday to come quickly to him.

I have a bright idea from an artist for chapter 5 that I hope will turn out well.

I hope you all don't mind me writing mainly about Bruce. It's just easier for me as I don't know how to write about Vance because I don't see much of myself in him as much as Bruce. I'll see you guys for chapter 5 hopefully
