(Time skip to Thursday)

Bruce heard his eleven-thirty alarm go off. He knew what day it was, it was Thursday it was also his day off but it was Thursday. It was his and Vance's date today. Bruce immediately jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. He started fluffing up his hair and then brushed his teeth.

"Hey, Bruce I'm on my break right now just felt like texting you." Bruce read the text he sent. He smiled as he brushed his teeth.

"Hey V! Alright I just woke up like 15 minutes ago." Bruce typed quickly back. He knew Vance would question why he called him V but he didn't mind him questioning it.

"V? Is that a new nickname Bruce?" Vance typed. Bruce smiled at his text knowing the whole answer to it.

"Yea it is I guess now." Bruce sent. He smiled and then continued brushing his teeth and finished up.

"Alrighty I guess now I'll have to find one for you." Bruce read it quickly. He rolled his eyes after he finished reading it.

"Please no I can't think of a single good nickname for me." Bruce typed back quickly. He looked concerned thinking of what Vance could come up with for him.

"I have to go, my break is ending. I'll see you soon bye!" Bruce read it and frowned at it.

"Alright see you soon V!" Bruce typed back to him. Bruce had to think of what to wear and exactly what he wanted to do. He did remember he had a nice long knitted yellow sweater that would work since it was becoming fall time. He decided on the sweater with just some simple light blue jeans he could cuff and his white converse.

"Where are my converse!" Bruce thought to himself knowing he put them in his closet somewhere amongst all his piles of clothes on the floor. He found them 5 minutes later and put them on.

(Time skip to 2:30 when Bruce is at the cafe)

Bruce opened the door and noticed Vance taking a random girl's order. Bruce knew the girl was hitting on him and all of a sudden a wave of jealousy came over him. Bruce approached the girl and Vance.

"You're really cute, can I have your number!" The girl said to Vance. Bruce was glaring her up and down from not that far behind her.

"Please stop, I'm not interested in you!" Vance yelled at her. She kept on trying. Eventually, Bruce was sick and tired of her.

"He said he wasn't interested, do you not understand!" Bruce yelled at her. Vance noticed him behind her and smiled. Bruce was finally able to see Vance and he had a ponytail in his hair.

"Who are you?" The girl said, turning to Bruce. Bruce didn't know what to do. Vance knew what was going on with Bruce so he decided to step in.

"He's the person I'm interested in," Vance said to her. The girl instantly looked at him and gave him a nasty look and walked away.

"Sorry about that Bruce," Vance said to him and let out a laugh. Bruce laughed with him.

"It's alright wanna head out now?" Bruce said to him. Vance smiled and nodded. He hung up his apron and the two left the shop.

"Shoot I left your matcha tea in there! I'll be right back with it." Vance yelled at Bruce as he walked back into the cafe. Bruce stood there as he waited for Vance to come back.

"I'm back! So sorry that I forgot it." Vance said to him as he came back and handed it to Bruce. Bruce thanked him and they walked away from the cafe.

"What do you want to do today for our date?" Bruce asked him as they walked. Vance looked at him.

"I was planning on the aquarium maybe," Vance mumbled. Bruce was happy he loves aquariums he never knew what fascinated him in the aquarium.

"I'd love to go!" Bruce yelled out "I love the aquarium. I've heard there's a new exhibit I've been needing to go see!" Bruce was smiling at Vance who was smiling back. Then they continued their walk.
