(Jinx's Pov)
I have waited to leave this horrible town since I was 6 and now I finally am and all because my dad's a salesman and he got promoted. Now here I am packing up all my stuff into the moving truck getting ready to leave for California. I have always wanted to move to California ever since I got into photography; so basically since I was 10. Now I'm in my sophomore year of high school. Moving won't be a big deal for me because no one here cares about me except my Grandma, but it's okay because my Grandpa is still around to look after her. I actually can't wait to leave because everyone here hates me, this way maybe I can try and pursue all my dreams, and actually make friends for once in my life.
My childhood was never the greatest, so it's my goal to make my future the greatest. California is going to b- "JINX GET IN THE CAR AND STOP STARING INTO SPACE!" Dash (my brother) yelled at me as he entered the car sitting shotgun."I'm coming...jeez" I mumbled and walked to the car.
The car ride didn't last long at all because soon enough we were at the airport, and we hoped on and I got window seat. I took out my canon t3i using my sigma lens to take a picture of the sky once we took off. The sun was setting so I got the coolest pictures. Dash snatched my camera from me and then turning it to face us (meaning my brother, my dad, and him), then he took a picture of us smiling way to big just how we like to smile.
After about 3 hours on the plane I rested my head on Dash's shoulder and slowly fell asleep.
I woke up from my brother hugging me way too tightly making me suffocate. I slapped his arm and said with my eyes half open, "What was that for you douche monkey?" He chuckled and said, "Douche monkey? Really?" I replied, "Yup, douche monkey."
Suddenly I looked out the window and realized we have landed. "YESS THANK GOD WE ARE FINALLY HERE!" I yelled a little to excited having people stare but I didn't care anymore because they don't know me no one knows me. I can have a fresh start.
