9. i want you

(Jinx's Pov)

We were walking onto the boardwalk when I saw Tanner. Tanner; my ex boyfriend and my first boyfriend, we ended our relationship because he had to move to California. (He is in the picture above.) When I looked at him we made eye contact and we started to run up to each other. Once we reached hugging distance we hugged for what seemed like forever but it was only 5 seconds. Once we let go Matt had just got my side, "umm..." Matt mumbled awkwardly. "Who's this?" Tanner asked scanning Matt; he is defiantly a different person. "Matt meet Tanner my ex boyfriend and Tanner meet Matt my bo- best friend." I quickly recovered from that almost embarrassing moment. I looked at Matt quickly after that and he smiled slightly. I smiled too and looked at Tanner... he did not look too happy. "So how have you been here in Cali?" I asked. "Horrible I've missed you terribly." Tanner said sadly. "I missed you too Tan" I said. "What brings you to California?" He asks. "My dad had to move for work." I said. "Oh my gosh... you're moving here" Tanner says "Maybe we can start where we left off." He smiled. I started to get dizzy because I remember being with him was perfect and I wanted that again. But I also wanted Matt. "Um... I got to go... Matt was just about to take me out to eat... but you still have my number so give me a call" I said nervously. "Yeah okay it was good seeing you" Tanner said then kissed my cheek and left me there with Matt.

Thats when Matt grabbed my hand and everything was good again. Being with him made everything seem okay. Being with him made all the stress and problems disappear. Right here and now I realized that and something else. I want Matt. I want him more than Tanner more than anything I have ever wanted. "Come on let's go." I said smiling holding his hand still. "I don't like that kid." Matt said frowning. "Why not?" I asked curious. "Because he makes me jealous." Matt said so honestly. "Why would you be jealous of him?" I said stoping in my tracks. "Because he's your ex boyfriend, and he wants you." He continued after a short pause as if he was thinking "but I want you." He says. I sigh knowing I want him too but I can't let him know that yet. Because then he will want to know everything about me and then I'll grow close and he'll leave me. "But we just met" I said looking at my feet. He gently grabs my chin making my whole face relax and my heart fill with hope. "But I feel like I have known you my whole life." He says softly staring into my soul. I stay there looking at him for a while. When I surprise my self...
