June 26th, the day of Ei's birthday. Electro couple was in their house by the beach enjoying their summer vacation together. Yae miko woke up early morning this day as she knew her beloved wife would sleep until afternoon as usual during summer. She left a kiss on Ei's lips, got up from the bed and left the envelope with birthday wishes on the table by the bed. Pink envelope with sakura's flowers and kitsune's insignia on it, sprayed with her perfumes that Raiden adored so much.
Miko woke up early in order to prepare many sweets for her lover that she knew is such a sweet tooth, so she decided to bake a few cupcakes with cute paintings on it, make some sakura mochi and sweet dango that she knew Ei was in love with. She hid them from her wife as they were supposed to bake cake in the kitchen together in the afternoon. The paintings on the cupcakes varied, from simple "I love you" to more complex showing electro archon holding her precious little fox. Yae miko knew she'd make Ei flustered with some of them but that's how she is, she enjoys teasing her lover a lot and seeing her blushing face.
Time passed pink kitsune was done with preparing sweets for her beloved, she was really happy and proud she made it in time before Ei woke up. She went back to the bedroom only to see her lover was still asleep. She hated to do this but she knew it was getting late as it was past 1pm already so she decided to kiss her wife until she wakes up. It didn't take long when electro archon opened her eyes and said with sleepy voice "I get it Miko I overslept but you could pick less violent method in order to wake me up..." with her face covered in a big red blush.
"I would never miss such an opportunity when my wife is helpless like this, you know very well I would do anything to see the red face of yours darling." pink kitsune replied giggling. Then added "Happy birthday honey, there is a letter with birthday wishes I wrote for you this morning. Read them and get ready as we should start baking the cake we were talking about the other day. I will head to the kitchen and prepare everything." afterwards she did as she said.
Ei was alone in bed still getting ready to get up, picked up the envelope and could already smell the perfume of her wife that she adored so much which made her heart so warm and smile as she associated this certain smell with her. After reading the letter electro archon teared up, she was so happy Miko is always so considerate of her and she does literally anything to make her feel loved and happy.
After purple haired archon got hold of her emotions, she got up and went to the kitchen where her lover was preparing everything to make the cake. She got behind miko, embraced her and kissed her on the neck, afterwards whispered to her ear "Thank you honey for such a sweet birthday wishes, I love you.". It worked as she expected, pink kitsune got flustered which she tried to hide as usually she was the one teasing her lover and she said "It's nothing darling you can stop being playful, are you ready to bake the cake for our birthdays? I was so excited about this idea ever since we came up with it.". A few days ago before the ei's big day, eimiko decided that since their birthdays are close to each other they will bake their own cake together, one cake for them both that will symbolize their love and relationship.
They both had so much fun baking together, occasionally teasing, feeding each other fruits and being affectionate. The cake turned out amazing, strawberry-blueberry flavored with raiden shogun statue and tiny pink fox icing on top of it. Eimiko signature was visible below icing and it was decorated with sakura flowers around it. Electro couple was in love with the cake, they spent such a quality time together and they made something delicious. Ei couldn't wait to taste their masterpiece but Miko stopped her as they still had to prepare dinner, as for dinner they decided to make kitsune most favorite dish and the one that she was the best at making which was udon noodles with fried tofu except this time the fried tofu wouldn't have just kitsune engraved on it but also shogun herself symbolizing their romantic relationship.
Time passed by quite fast for the lovers it was almost sunset when they were done, they prepared the table and decided to take a walk on the beach before dinner and watch the setting sun together. Sand was nicely warmed up by the sun but the chill air made it so much more enjoyable to walk along the sea. Miko holding Ei's hand were thinking how beautiful her wife is with the sun in the background, she told herself that she has to take a picture in this beautiful scenery to save this amazing moment. She asked her electro archon to take her phone out and take picture of both of them with the sunset in the background, Ei thought that would be a great idea so she listened to her. When she was about to take a picture pink kitsune kissed her on the cheek making Ei all flustered with that unexpected kiss which turned into embarrassing photo for Ei but very sweet one for Miko. They turned towards the sunset to enjoy the magical view. "Miko you're always like this, unexpectedly evil trying to make me fluster and blush even in such moments.. I love this about you though" purple haired electro vision wielder said embarrassingly. "It's not my fault your reaction to my teasing is the sweetest and I love this about you even more darling" Miko replied cuddling with her wife while watching the sun going down.
After short walk on the beach and their sweet time together, the couple came back home to enjoy the dinner. Dinner was delicious as expected from pink kitsune's cooking, she was always the best chef in Ei's eyes but the happiness on electro archon's face when she tried the cake they baked together. Yae was so satisfied seeing her wife so happy and she knew it isn't all as the sweets she prepared for her lover would make her even happier. After they were done with each other's slice of cake Miko said "Close your eyes sweetheart I have a surprise for you.", Ei being the obedient wife she is listened and knowing she could only expect the best from her lover she was waiting excitingly. Pink kitsune pulled out the plate with all the sweet she prepared this morning. "Open your mouth darling and trust me." said afterwards, Ei did so and Miko put one of the cupcakes near hear face so she could take a bite of it. "What is this amazing smell and flavor? Is this one of your cupcakes honey? Your sweets are the sweetest thing one's lips could ever touch." Ei said while devouring the sweet her wife made for her. Miko with the smile on her face asked her "Is it really the sweetest thing your lips could touch?" while getting closer to her wife. "I feel like it's a trap question Miko.. are you thinking of doing something?" Ei flustered replied as she noticed her wife getting closer to her as she'd want to kiss her. "Maybe I am. I can guarantee you though that it will be sweeter than the sweets I made." Yae said this with charming voice, afterwards kissing Ei on her lips. Both of them were exchanging long kisses for quite some time not paying attention to time or what was going on around them as if it was the eternity they always wanted.
After they finished dinner and enjoying the sweets they decided to watch a horror movie to end the day with some more quality time together. Miko wasn't interested that much about the movie so she let Ei pick as her only goal was to tease and scare her lover just as she always does. Although this time they ended mostly cuddling together and making fun of the bad horror movie electro archon chose, they both laughed a lot which made them feel even closer together. They could feel the warmth of their hearts.
Just before going to bed they decided to watch the sky at night together from the balcony. Sky was glittering, stars where everywhere, like shining crystals lighting up everything around. The only things that were shinier than this were the eyes of Ei and Miko while they were looking at each other, their eyes like shiniest gems filled with joy enjoying their time together. They felt the happiest they could because they were together and they knew that this exact life, life together in love they will have for eternity. In the end it was the eternity Ei was striving to achieve, the eternity with her pink kitsune wife. She knew no matter how much time would pass, no matter what would happen Miko would still be here waiting for her with an open arms and heart. Ei said looking at her wife as she was charmed entirely by her presence "I love you Miko.". Yae looked at her, got close enough in order to kiss Ei on her lips, before doing so whispered "Love you too my archon, you're my eternity." after those words she kissed her.
