"Honey, wake up. Hey. Your room is looking very well." Mom said.

I groaned and yanked the covers over my head. I was in my bed. I sat up too quickly and the blood rushed to my head. I yelped and put my hand to my head. Mom sighed and smiled at me.

"Mom, it's Saturday. Why are you waking me up?" I asked.

"It's eleven in the afternoon. Besides, your room is a little empty. I want to go get some more furniture so watch Killer while we're gone." Mom said and let the room.

I pulled off the covers and was about to lift my shirt up when-

"Woah! Hey, I'm right here." Hunter said, waving his hands in the air.

I yelped and pulled my shirt down. I forgot about my dead roommate. He smiled at me and sat down on my couch.

"So, who's Killer?" Hunter asked.

"My dog. Oh, he's a dog." I said and slapped my head.

"So?"

"You're a ghost."

"Thank you Ms. Obvious! I had no idea." Hunter smirked.

"No, my dog will freak out if he sees you. Unless, I show him you're friendly." I said.

"In that case, I'll disappear for a while. Maybe an hour or two?" Hunter said, shrugging.

"No, that's too dangerous. You don't remember much and if you wander, you might get lost and won't find you way back." I said.

Hunter frowned and sighed.

"Besides, I don't want you to leave whenever my dog is here. You guys will have to become friends." I said, getting up.

"What are you doing?" Hunter asked and got up.

I opened the door to my room and called out, "Killer!!!!"

Hunter's eyes widened and he froze as my dog came tumbling up the stairs and into my room. As soon as  Killer spotted Hunter he froze. They stared at each other for a moment before Killer moved. He wagged his tail and barked.

"Okay that was not the reaction I was hoping for." I said.

"Why name him Killer? He's like a big friendly fuzz ball." Hunter said, petting Killer.

"Everyone teased me. I wanted my dog to have a tough name. Besides, you're the only one who he doesn't bite or howl at." I said.

"So, he likes me?" Hunter asked, his eyes sparkling.

"Yeah, I guess." I said.

Hunter laughed and began to play with Killer. Killer looked happier than I've ever seen him.

"Hey, don't love him too much. He is my dog." I said and went to shower.

"Shut the hell up!" I shouted.

"Never!" Hunter shouted right back.

I groaned and covered my ears. For the past hour, Hunter and Killer had been singing and howling to my favorite band Beat Crusaders. They were singing to the song Follow Me. It was agony. I mean, Hunter had a good voice, amazing even, but not when he was shouting the lyrics. Of course, Only me and Killer could hear and see him. Goody.

"Listen, I really like this band, please don't ruin it for me!" I begged.

"Wait, are you saying that we can't compare to this band?" Hunter asked.

"Yes." I said.

"So are you saying we are much more awesome?" Hunter asked and jumped on the couch.
