Tell me what you think! Hope you like it! Hugs- Isabel

A bearded man is watching TV, Sally walks up to the guy.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for Lawrence Nightingale." She asks.

The man doesn't even look at us. "Through the back." Is all he says. I follow Sally into the back.

We walk into the room. "Hello?" Sally says.

I hear the Doctors voice. I run to where it's coming from. On a TV, I see the doctor and Martha.

"Doctor?" I say. They're saying stuff, not reacting to me being there. I sigh, it was only a video.

I turn as a man walks in. "Oh, Hello. Can I help you?" The guys asks, I guess he is Lawrence.

"Hi." Sally says.

I look at the screen the doctor is talking. "Thirty eight." He says, I look at the guy,

"Where'd you get that?" I ask. He looks at me about to answer, then he looks at Sally.

"Wait, we've met before, haven't we?" He asks Sally.

Sally looks at him. "It'll come to you." A few second later he responds.

"Oh, my God." He says, crossing his hands over his groin.

Sally shakes her head. "There it is."

"Sorry. Sorry again about the whole.."

Sally interrupts. "Message from your sister."

The guy looks pleased to change the subject. "Oh! Okay. What? What is it? What's the message?"

I look down sadly, the poor guy. I take a deep breath in and look at him.

"She's had to go away for a bit." She says. I knew she would have to lie about it, but it was still sad.

The guy who I think Sally mentioned went by Larry, looks worried. "Where?" He asks.

Sally just shakes her head. "Just a work thing. Nothing to about." She says. She's a good actor, that's for sure.

He still looks confused and replies with an. "Okay."

I think Sally's done, but I'm wrong. "And.."

He looks up. "And what?"

"She loves you." She says.

Larry looks really concerned. "She said what?"

She sighs. "She said to say. She just sort of mentioned it. She loves you. there, that's nice, isn't it?" Sally went on, maybe she wasn't that good of an actor...

"Is she ill?" He asks. I;m surprised that's what he says, but I sorta understand it too.

"No! No." Sally says.

"Am I ill?" He says even more concerned.

"No!" Sally yells. This is getting ridiculous.

"Is this a trick?" He saysfinally.

"No. She loves you." Sally says again as if it was really that hard for him to get it.

We turn as Larry pauses the video of the Doctor.

"Who is this guy?" Sally asks. Larry was about to say something but I interrupt.

"The Doctor and the other girl is Martha." I say.

Larry stares at me and Sally turns around to look at me.

"You mean that guy you were looking for? That Doctor?" Sally says. Larry's mouth gapes open

"Yeah. What was he talking about? Blinking was it?" I ask.

"Wait, you know this guy?" Larry asks.

"Yes, yes I do. Anyway, where'd you get these and what was he talking about?" I insist.

Larry gives up on me knowing the Doctor. He knows I won't tell him anything.

"yeah, the bit about the blinking's great. I was just checking to see if they were all the same." He says.

"What were the same? What is this? Who is he?" Sally asks, the last question more aimed at me.

"An Easter egg." He says.

"A what?" I say.

"An Easter is like a DVD extra. You know how they have extras on, documentaries and stuff? Well, sometimes they have hidden ones, and they call them Easter eggs." He explains. I nod. The doctor starts talking again.

"Complicated." I hear him say, I look over there for a second.

"Sorry. It's interesting actually. He is on seventeen different DVDs. There are seventeen totally unrelated DVDs, all with him on. Always hidden away, always a secret. Not even the publishers know how he got there. I've talked to the manufacturers, right? They don't even know about him. He's like a ghost. Spooky isn't it?" Larry finishes.

I smile, the doctor's always so sneaky

"What does he do?" Sally asks.

Larry shrugs. "He just sits there, making random remarks. It's like we're hearing half a conversation. Me and the guys are always trying to work out the other half."

I raise an eyebrow. "When you say you and the guys, you mean the Internet, don't you?"

Larry looks surprised. "How'd you know?"

"Spooky isn't it?" I say mocking his other statement.

"Laurence? Need you." The bearded guy says.

Larry looks at us. "Excuse me a sec." He says going to the front.

The Doctor starts talking again. "People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff."

I smile, what a dork. "Started well, that sentence." I say smiling.

"It got away from me, yeah." He says, both Sally and I look at each other.

"Okay, that was weird. Like you can hear us." Sally says creeped out.

"Well, I can hear you." He says. I just smile. That brilliant idiot.

Sally pauses the screen and Larry comes back.

"Okay, that's enough. I've had enough now. I've had a long day and I've had bloody enough!" She yells, she calms down. "Sorry. Bad day."

Larry hands Sally a list. "Got you the list." He says.

"What?" Sally asks taking it.

"The seventeen DVDs. I thought you might be interested." He's right too.

 "Yeah, great. Thanks." Sally smiles.
