Hey y'all. I know this is very much overdue, but I really just have not had a place for this story in my life for the past year and a half. I really enjoyed it while I was writing it, but I just have so many other, more important things to focus on.
That being said, I'm back. I was down in Austin today and passed the moontower from Dazed and Confused, and the sun was shining just right, and I realized I missed it. This movie, and this story. I can't guarantee updates will be regular, but I'm motivated again to start writing.
Also, I just have a damn good plan for this story that was too good to give up.
This story is Austin. It's the 70s. It's coming of age. I just can't give that up yet.
I'm a bit rusty, so I'm straightening out the timeline and such. I'm not sure if the movie is on any streaming platforms anymore, so that complicates the writing process a bit. But I assure y'all- new chapters will be coming very soon.
ALSO I know this is literally a fanfiction and this "comeback" is unnecessarily dramatic, but I am very excited about the potential this story has. Enjoy!
