DHMIS Who Are We? Fanfiction (Includes Red × Duck)

Chapter 3, PT 2, Your safe now❤️‍🔥👿🌸

(A/N + TW: Hello everyone! I hope you all have a good day! Also I would like to mention that Mogan will not be mentioned in any of this Fanfiction. (if you know who it is, you know who it is) Because for me, the pilot episode (Wakey, Wakey) is not cannon anymore, (The authors said so themself.) Though, I do not mind if anyone mentions him in comment, I just will not be making content about him, (using his name). I'm sorry if that disappoints anyone, but I will not be using his name nor what he looked liked in that pilot episode. (It kinda makes me uncomfy) so I do apologize if any of you were looking forward for a mention of him, but I repeat, he will not be mentioned in that way!
Anyway this chapter contains Roy, fluff, crying, and flashback scenes! (Flashback scene is from Insperation from the comic of the picture above ^^)

This flashback takes place after the episode Family with Lily and Todney. (Way before all the other chapters have taken place)
3rd POV

Roy walks into the house Doi was trapped in to become the new mother of their family. Roy pushes Doi out of the house and Doi sits outside the house, crying into his knees as he listens to Roy tear, what he thought was his new friends, apart.

The front door swings open, Roy walking out. "Bye. . ." Doi whispers in a shakey voice. "I miss you, Dad."

Roy stops walking, staring straight ahead, memories shooting through his head.

"I don't believe in you being a boy! You can't just change your gender! Shes an abomination!"

"He is your child! You should love them no matter what they want to be!"

"I can't even look at her the same anymore, she will never be my son, I don't even believe shes my daughter anymore."

"From everything he's been through, your just gonna throw him way!"

"I'll find people she can live with! Okay?! I'll find someone! I-I just can't let her live with me anymore."

"Your a terrible father. You don't even hug him, much less talk to him."

"She deserves to suffer, she ruined everything. Our family was perfect, now it's ruined."

"He's scared, you can't just leave him with us! He doesn't even know us!"

"Will you at least give him a hug before you leave him!"

"It's amazing how he still calls you father, but you can't even call him son."

Roy snaps back into reality and closes his eyes and sighs, looking at his son in the corner of his eyes.

"Guys. . ." Doi whimpers, getting up, pulling on his dress that that family put him in. "I wanna go home. . . Can you guys hear me? I should've just stayed home!" Doi sobs.

Roy turns to his son and walks over to him.

"D-dad?"  Doi stutters.

Roy clenches his teeth and balls his hands into fits. He grabs the side of Dois shoulders, gripping them tightly.

"D-Do you need something? Are you okay. . .? Dad?" Doi asks, staring up at his father.

Roy's wipes Doi's eyes, with one of his hands, still gripping Doi's should with his other hand.

Doi closes his eyes, flinching back. "Ngh--" he whimpers. After his father moves his hand way, he realized what he just did. "D-dad?" Doi whispers, sniffing.

"Com'on," Rob grumbles, turning away from Doi. He grabs Doi's hand and starts walking.

"Di-Did you just talk to me?!" Doi perks up, following behind his father, holding his hand as tight as he could. Roy says nothing, continuing to walk back to Doi's house where he lives with Red and Duck. "Dad? Where are we going?"

"Your home," Roy mumbles.

"M-my home?" Doi goes quiet, still quite happy his father had talked to him, not only once, but twice. Doi zones out into his thoughts and suddenly he's at the pink house he lives in.

Roy pulls a key out of his pocket with his other hand and unlocks the house, walking Doi inside. Red and Duck sit at the kitchen table down the hall and hear the door open. Red quickly gets up, rushing down the hall, Duck right behind him.

"Where were you, you cheeky little-- " Duck squawks, but stop as he sees Roy. Red and Duck stand still looking at Doi and Roy standing in door way together.

"Hi guys!" Doi smiles.

"Yellow. . . Get over here," Duck says slowly but sternly.

Doi looks up at his dad, and Roy still looks at Red and Duck with that same face he has on. "B-but--" Doi stutters.

Roy let's go of Doi's hand, pushing him towards Red and Duck. Doi trips and falls down in front of Red.

Reds eyes fire up, he steps in front of Doi, pushing Roy in the chest. "Get out of here!" Red hisses. "Go away!"

"N-no! He helped me!" Doi cries.

Duck helps Doi up, holding him back to step between Red and Roy.

Roy stares Red down for a moment but Red doesn't break eye contact, his height staring down back at Roy. Roy clenches his teeth and looks away, turning away from them and walking off.

Doi looks down sadly and rushes to his room.

Red sighs, looking down. He shuts the door and looks at Duck. "He doesn't realize how horrible Roy is. . ." Red sighs.

Duck shakes his head. "He's young. . . It'll be a while before he does."

Red and Duck stare at the ground in silence for a moment and them Red walks down the hall to their room. He knocks on the door and waits a moment. He hears no answer and walks in. "Yellow. . .?"

Yellow sits on his bed looking down at the floor, his legs facing Ducks bed. Red walks over to Doi and sits next to him. Doi closes his eyes, and flings himself against Red, hugging him tightly.

After a moment of Doi gripping onto Red, Red pats Doi's back. "Let's get you out of those clothes," Red says, getting up. He walks around to Doi's nightstand and pulls out some of Doi's PJ's, walking back to Doi. Doi stands up and Red crouches down to somewhat Doi's level. "Arms up, bud," Red mumbles. Doi looks to the side, and puts his arms up. Red pulls the white dress off him, throwing it on the ground behind them.

Red looks at Dois chest, staring at the dirty batteries that are stuck in him. He looks away and then pulls Doi's oversized T-Shirt over him. Red gently takes the red ribbons out of Doi's hair and sets them on the bed. He runs his fingers through Doi's blue hair, fixing it the best he can without a comb.

"They peirced your ears too, huh, bud?" Red asks, gently pulling out the bone ear rings they put in his ears. Doi sniffles, trying to hold back his tears again. Red looks down at him and wipes Doi's eyes. This causes Doi to think of his father and cry harder. Red pulls him into another hug, holding his head and stroking his hair. "It's okay buddy, your safe now."
