(A/N + TW: Hello everyone, I hope you have a good day!
This part contains mentions of cSA, using the word s|ut, intrusive thoughts, and of course lots and lots of plot!)

3rd POV

Red walks down the hall, outside and sits in the grass, staring at each other for a moment in silence. "Harry. . ."

"Yes, bubs?" Red asks.

"Do you. . . touch Duck?"

Red sits up straighter, looking at Doi carefully. "Wh-why do you ask, Doi?"

"My uncle said when you touch people down there. . ." Doi puts his hand over the gap in his overalls, "It means you love them."

Red sits there quiet for a second. "I have, yes."

"I. . . I know dad and mommy don't love me. . ."

"What do you mean, Doi. . ."

"I. . . I don't remember it all, but I've seen Dad touch Mommy like that. . . But they've never done that to me."

Reds eyes widen. "No! Nonono! It's different for kids! I mean-- No one should ever be touching you inappropriately. No one ever. Adults do it to each other sometimes to show their love. But they only do it to the other adult, they should never do it to their child."

Doi goes quiet for a moment. "So. . . Was it bad that he did?"

Red inhales quickly. "That who did, Doi??" Red exclaims.

"My uncle. . . He told me that when you touch people there it means you love them. Does that mean I did bad?"

Red closes his eyes for a moment. Someone had touched Doi. "No, that means HE is bad," Red hisses. "Don't ever let anyone, I mean anyone touch you like that. Especially if you don't want to," Red says.

Doi looks downs, keeping his hand over his overall shorts. "I heard on the TV that if a girl let's a guy touch them. . . That makes you a s|ut. . . And a s|ut is dirty and bad. . ." Doi looks back up at Red. "Does that make me a s|ut? Am I dirty and bad? Because I let Uncle do that to me?"

Red doesn't know how to explain this to Doi. He reaches out to Doi and Doi flinches back. Doi goes back to Red, letting Red take his hand. "Do you see these scars, Doi?" Red says, putting his hand next to his top surgery scars.

"Mm-hmm," Doi nods.

"I used to be a girl too." Red smiles at Doi, squeezing his hand. "These scars are my freedom. They freed me of my wrong body. I used to be a girl that overthought everything and did stupid things to make myself happy. I even gave myself up to someone that I didn't like, even knew I didn't want to. People at school called me dirty and disgusting. So I left that place. . . I don't remember a lot from when I left until when I got here, but I remember getting the weight off my chest of these. And it was one of the best days of my life. I don't want you to have to go through all of this just to realize you never did anything wrong and there was never anything wrong with you, when I could've told you now.
"You are perfect just the way you are, Doi. Don't let the decision of stupid people make you feel bad. There is nothing wrong with you. You are perfect and good and pure, just the way you are. Even with the internal scars you have."

Doi smiles at Red and hugs him tightly. "Thank you. . . Dad," Doi whispers.

Red hesitates and then hugs Doi tightly. "Of course, bubs," Red whispers.

(Meanwhile)

Duck picks himself up from the floor, his teeth grinding together and his hands curled into fist. "He doesn't. . . Love me. . ." Duck whispers.

"Robin!" A voice shouts from the hall.

Duck wipes his tearfilled eyes and walks down the hall to the mirror where Iod stand.

"What the actual he'll was that??" Iod hisses.

"I was trying to put the batteries in! What do you mean!"

"You didn't have to tackle him!"

"I didn't think--"

"Go out there and ask nicely!" Iod tells Duck.

Duck looks down. "But. . . Red is mad."

"I would be mad too if you jumped on me or my friend!"

"He doesn't love me. . ."

"He didn't say that. He meant that if your not going to be nice to Doi, then he would have to choose Doi over you."

"Something about Doi. . . Makes me uncomfortable. . ." Duck whispers.

"If you ask nicely for him to put those batteries in, I will tell you everything. Now go."

Duck looks at the batteries in his wing and sighs. He walks to the front door and goes outside. He hesitates on the steps, seeing Doi in Reds lap. Red is laughing, his head shaking side to side, stimming with his hair flying everywhere. Doi laughs with Red, shaking the hand that isn't pressed against Reds chest.

They're having so much fun without you. You just get in the way, a voice in his head hisses at him.

Duck shakes the thoughts out of his head, puffing out his chest to feel tough. He walks down the stares and to the two of them. Red and Doi stop, looking to him. Duck takes a deep breath. "Doi. . . I apologize for jumping on you and trying to put fresh batteries in without asking you. . . I just. . . I feel left out from you and Red always talking and hanging out more than you guys hang out with me. I thought if I put the batteries in, then maybe I'd be included in what you and Red talk about."

Doi smiles brightly up at Duck. He reaches his arm out and takes the batteries from Ducks wing. "Just for a little bit," Doi nods. "You deserve to know too, Duck."

Reassurance washes over Duck. He smiles back at Doi. "Please, you can call me Robin."
