Chapter 7: Moments before the storm

Previously on "Dark Legacy"

Beerus: (sighs) "All this talk of time travel and the multiverse bores me to know end, Whis! lets us return home"

Whis: "At once my lord"

Beerus: "Do call when the situation has been resolved, I would like to hear what happens next"

Beerus and Whis leave earth and go back to Beerus planet. Leaving now four of them behind in capsule corp.

Gohan: "I should go too, I need to think about this"

Chi Chi: (places her hand on his shoulder) "It's okay, take your time..... this was hard on all of us"

Gohan: (nods and hugs Chi Chi) "Take care mom" (flies away)

Piccolo: (sees Gohan fly away) "So long kid" (flies away as well)

Bulma: (walks over to Chi Chi) "Are you okay?"

Chi Chi: ". . . . . No.... I don't think I'm okay Bulma" (tears up)

Bulma hugs Chi Chi and tries to comfort her, trying to make sure the pain doesn't hurt her as much as it already has. Everyone had gone somewhere to either train, think, relax or cry, what was revealed today was not what they wanted to hear.

Back in the future

Goten Black stood silent surrounded by trees, his body was still, his eyes were closed, and he took one small deep breath moving out of the way to dodge an incoming slash from Zamasu.

Zamasu: "Good, now continue"

Zamasu continued to try and slash Goten Black, who was barely dodging each attack over and over again until Zamasu lands a cut on his arm which makes Goten flinch and open his eyes. He covered his cut and took in some deep breaths as he looks towards Zamasu.

Goten Black: "This training truly is difficult master, and your saying the gods can master this technique and dodge attack by instinct alone?"

Zamasu: "Indeed, a truly marvelous technique if I do say so myself"

Goten: "What makes you so sure I could unlock it?"

Zamasu: "If that brainless father of yours could, and you have better potential than him, than I believe you have solid chance in mastering this power"

Goten Black: (smiles and nods)"Then I'll keep trying, and I won't trying until I succeed in mastering this power"

Zamasu: "Good, I think that is enough for today" (turns and starts walking away) "tomorrows a big day, so let us get some much needed rest before the battle"

Goten Black: "Right!" (follows Zamasu)

Goten Black's master is Zamasu, and it seems he was teaching him the technique and transformation known as Ultra Instinct, both sides are gaining strength as we speak. Goten's master returns, Goku and his friends gain allies in the form of Time Patrol, and now they all busy training for the upcoming battles.
