Chapter 20: The Children Captured

Janitor, Beth, and the teenagers were in the middle of a dark hallway from the undergrounds with some lights. Chris looked around to find out that Poppy wasn't with them.

"Where's Poppy? She was right behind us." Chris said.

"Maybe she's trying to get some help." Dan said.

"She'll catch up later. Now, let's go." Liv said.

Janitor, Beth, and the teenagers continued walking down the hallway for a few minutes that there was a flickering light and nothing was happening until Paige slips by a blood stain of the floor that makes her fall down and sees her assistant Doug was killed with Bingo's drumsticks in his eyes. Paige screamed in fear and Bob grabbed her to stand up, the others also saw Doug's dead body.

"What, uh, what is that in his eyes?" Aaron asked.

"Bing-Bingo's drumsticks." Austin answered.

"It's Doug. The other page. They sent him out with the rest of the audience." Paige said.

Paige turns on her flashlight to reveal the audience's dead bodies right beside Doug.

"Oh, Jesus. It's only the adults." Austin said.

"Where are the children?" Beth asked.

The others heard a lot of screaming from frightened children.

"They must have held them captive." Kathy said.

"Let's go." Beth said.

Janitor, Beth, and the teenagers continued running down the hallway until they opened a trap door that they all got out to see the frightened children were crying and being forced to watched the show while Fleegle was hosting. The others were hiding while they were watching.

"Ta-da!" Fleegle shouted.

A knocking noise from the door was heard.

"Well, who could that be?" Fleegle asked.

Fleegle went to the door to open it that there was Drooper pushing Stevie's dead body with a giant lollipop down this throat and riding his tricycle, the kids screamed in fear and the others were shocked.

"Look who I found. It's Stevie." Drooper said.

"What the hell is this?" Austin whispered.

"Isn't it wonderful, Stevie? All of our friends are here. Now the show can go on forever and ever and ever!" Drooper shouted.

The kids were crying in fear while being silent.

"They're never gonna let them go. They'll die in here." Paige said.

"We have to save those kids." Beth said.

Janitor, Beth, and the teenagers got closer to the kids without getting caught as they watched Drooper push Stevie a little closer to a pipe with fire.

"Hey, Stevie. Mail's here!" Fleegle shouted.

Fleegle switched the lever to flame throw on Stevie to push him which makes the kids scream in fear again. Janitor and Beth went closer behind to the kids to break the chains with the monkeywrench as a little girl turned around to see them.

"Shh." Beth said to the little girl.

The little girl nodded her head to keep quiet. Janitor and Beth tries to break the chains as Fleegle uses a mop bucket of water to dump it on Stevie's body to put out the fire and the kids were crying.

"Silly Stevie. Smoking's bad for your health." Fleegle said.

Austin looks at the kids to find Harley and Zoe.

"I can't see Harley or Zoe." Austin said.

"I don't see them either." Liv said.

"Maybe they got away." Chris said.

Janitor and Beth were trying to break the chains, but no use yet.

"Oh, boy, it's time for.." Drooper said.

"The wheel of endings." Fleegle and Drooper said together.

Fleegle and Drooper opens the curtains to reveal Andy was stil alive but hammered into a giant metal wheel which makes the kids scream in fear again. Janitor and Beth saw as Fleegle and Drooper pushed the wheel closer.

"I'm the vice president of Programming. You can't do this to me." Andy said.

"We have to hurry." Beth said.

"But what about Harley and Zoe?" Kathy asked.

Janitor and Beth continue to try to break the chains but it was too tight.

"I wonder how the show is gonna end." Fleegle said.

Suddenly, Harley, Zoe, and Parker went downstairs with Snorky as the other teenagers sees them.

"There they are." Aaron whispered.

"Guys." Paige said to Janitor and Beth.

"Take it slow." Harley whispered.

Janitor and Beth looked to see the three kids with Snorky and they all hid behind the giant fans while they were watching.

"Oh, my God." Beth whispered.

Fleegle and Drooper looked to see Snorky with Harley, Zoe, and Parker.

"Great job, Snorky." Drooper said.

"Put them with our other friends." Fleegle said in demand.

Snorky puts the kids to sit down next to the rest of the children to tie them up by their feet with chains.

"You can't do this. You're the Banana Splits." Zoe said.

"The show must go on." Fleegle said.

Snorky locks the lock of the chains and looked up to Harley.

"Snorky, please don't do this." Harley said.

Snorky sneakily gives Harley the keychain that he got them to hide it away as Snorky walks away.
