In the end, why had he thought about all this again ?

It was for Keith's sake, he wondered who the Sayyid family was. Maybe merchants? Maybe peasants, he hoped at least that Keith's family was not in the "service" business. Just the thought that other people would pay to see Keith or get favours made him even more possessive than he already was. He should ask Keith where his family came from, he was curious to know? That is, if he managed to talk to Keith again, which was not so easy since he hated him.

"To tell you the truth Hiroo, I don't know where Keith comes from, I didn't look for-"

"I know someone who does care, especially if you plan to keep him around Isaac."

At these words Hiroo bursts out laughing spitting out bits of macaroons he had just bitten into.

"AH AH AH ! My god he's amazing !!!" Hiroo pronounced as he continued to writhe in his chair laughing.

"Hmm, yes, I'd appreciate a little help from you please.. Not so funny to me."

"Yeah yeah. One moment Isaac"

"..."

"Ah, I can't believe it's been so long since I've laughed so hard."

"Well, why did he get angry in the first place ?"

"Well what do you want me to say ? I don't understand him either, which is why I'm currently wasting my time with you."

Damn it, Hiroo was starting to get on his nerves, none of his friends were useful after all.

I think you should offer him some stuff, leave him some words and tell him what you think of him or something. Maybe he'll want to talk to you when he sees your royal efforts !"

"He doesn't seem like a very material or romantic person though..."

"Everyone would be happy to receive gifts from you, even more so if they are valuable, he is of a much lower rank than you, it must still impress him with beautiful things. Think about what he finds beautiful, what will make an impression on him, I don't know, you know him after all !

Hiroo was right, Keith may not have been a very materialistic person but there were many things that seemed to delight him. Flowers, he loved flowers. It was his job after all.

But maybe it was too commonplace ? He saw them every day... Or maybe jewellery, Isaac had noticed the holes in his ears, probably caused by piercings Keith had.

The more he thought about it, the more ideas came into his head, Isaac had many ways to please Keith after all
