Sarah's POV:
Rue pulled away from my neck and hugged me. "I don't want you to die again." She said with a sad face. "Oh well. If I do die again, I will find thee again. Even if I cannot come back to life for another 300 years, I will find thee in death. I promise."Rue turned back around to see where we were going. "Sarah... where are we going?" She asked. "I'm not entirely certain! We should head home soon though." I replied. Rue nodded her head.
Rue's POV:
Sarah had decided it would be best to head home soon. "But I want thou to see something first." She told me. "Alright!" I replied. She told me to hold on. I grabbed the wood of the broom. Sarah sharply turned the broom around. I swear I would have fallen off if she didn't catch me. Let's not mention the fact that she caught me by my chest... making me blush very badly."I swore I wouldn't let thou fall and that was the only way I could keep my promise!" She giggled. I just shook my head playfully and turned myself round to her. "I really shouldn't be saying this," I began. "But I think I'm falling in love with you too." I told her, my face growing redder. Her face lit up. "Thanketh all mighty Satan! My favourite girl loves me too!" Sarah cheered. She made the broom flip over and back up again. She was so happy. It was in that moment that I realised that I loved her. I would do ANYTHING for her to stay.
Sarah aimed the broom down and we were above a forest. "Get ready to get off." She whispered. I got myself ready as we went through the trees.
The broom stopped and Sarah stood up at the perfect height for her. Admittedly, it wasn't very difficult. She took the broom in one hand and my hand in the other. She ran really fast, dragging me along. "Hurry up! I only have a few hours left!" She giggled. I remembered that was true and rapidly picked up my pace.
A lot of running later, we arrived in a small, cozy spot by a river. There were trees all around and it was lit by moonlight and stars. It was beautiful. "This was my favourite place to come when Winnie was troubling me. It hasn't changed for 300 years. Probably because it's in the Witch's most sacred woods." Sarah told me. "This forest belongs to witches?" I asked. I always came to these woods but never this deep. I had no idea it belonged to witches. "Yes. The entire forest is a recharging ground for witches. I always used to come here to cleanse myself of negativity generated by Winnie being such a horrible sister." She explained.
"I'm sorry that Winnie is so bad." I apologised, stroking her hair. She smiled at me. "Well I can forget about her for now. After tonight, I may never have to see her again." She giggled. "Well I'll stay with you until sunrise." I told her. "Thank thee Rue. Thou art so sweet. I love you." She thanked me. "I love you too Sarah." I said, throwing my arms around her.
