When the boys wanted something to do in a boring Friday night, George suggested a nightclub. He wouldn't feed and he should be safe now that he killed the hunter that kept hunting him down, so he figured, why not? Dream was worried and he privately reassured George that he was always down to volunteer if George was hungry. George brushed him off though. There would be no fangs out tonight. Just drinks and dancing and good vibes.

Dream still kept close to George, as he always did, but this time he was keeping his head on a swivel. He was terrified of another hunter recognizing George for what he was and attacking. The others didn't know why Dream seemed so jumpy. George knew but he tried not to let Dream's anxious energetic rub off on him. It was going to be a fun night. They were just out here for some innocent fun.

Quackity wasn't much of a dancer when he was sober, but a couple drinks in and he was trying to show Karl how to salsa dance. Sapnap managed to woo from girl at the bar and he happily sat there and flirted with her for what felt like hours. Dream and George hang out at the bar to chat and then made their way to the dance floor. This scene was very familiar to them so they blended into the atmosphere without struggle.

They didn't dance with girls with the goal of feeding anymore, and without that distraction, Dream actually paid attention to who danced on him. He didn't know how he ended up with a slim, sparkly Latina pressed against his front, but he wasn't complaining. She was pretty and she smelled nice. She wasn't shy either so she grinded on him and curled her fingers into his hair without hesitation.

Had girls always been this confident and aggressive? Dream didn't know. He always paid more attention to George. But somehow, George was half a dance floor away already and was amusing a couple of girls with a few goofy dance moves that made even Dream chuckle. He liked how confident and fearless George was when he was having fun. Nothing could stop that little vampire when he was in a good mood.

At some point, the Latina woman pressed against Dream had invited him up to a reserved table she had on the second floor that overlooked the dance floor. She had free drinks and more pretty friends so Dream had no reason to reject her invite. She took his hand and led him up the velvet stairs, stopping at her table that had her friends crowded around it. He greeted them awkwardly as she placed a drink in his hand.

She leaned back against the glass railing overlooking the dance floor and pulled Dream's shirt so he'd cage her in. She smiled up at him, obviously feeling a bit confident and mischievous with such a hot man in her clutches. She tilted her head to try and meet his lips, but just as Dream caught a glimpse of George dancing below, he locked up like a stone statue. He hadn't kissed anybody beside George in a long time.

And he liked that.

George danced carelessly. He didn't care if he looked silly or unskilled or "like a muppet" as Quackity once put it. Dancing was fun and music was great and laughing was okay but it was all about having a good time. Besides, all this dancing and music was distracting George from the fact that Dream had a girl on his tail from the moment he walked into this place. It was agitating to constantly turn around and see them together but George didn't want to think about it too hard.

Dream was single and allowed to flirt with as many girls as he wanted. And it didn't matter that he found a pretty girl at the nightclub every single time he was here. That didn't bother George. Except that it did. It bothered him a lot and it was casting a dark shadow over his fun night and he hated it. He shouldn't care. He had no reason to care. Dream could flirt and touch and sleep with anybody he wanted to.

"Woah! Look! Look!" Karl shouted to his friends, slapping George's shoulder and pointing up.

George looked up at the floor above them and spotted Dream immediately. He was caging a girl against the railing and she had her arms around his shoulders like she liked it. Dream and George's eyes locked immediately and George froze. His eyes flicked between the woman and Dream and his stomach churned. It wasn't until the woman grabbed Dream's face and pulled him into a deep, sloppy kiss that George forced his eyes away.
