Chapter 2

Koda felt miserable. They were all alone, they were weaker than a blind kit. They paced around the bins in the alleyway. It stank of rotten food, and other random pieces of rubbish, Koda was sure they could even smell poop. They started to get worried. Would Axel arrive soon? Axel was taking way too long. Koda couldn't bear it anymore. They ran out of the alleyway and into the silent desolated streets. They looked around. The deserted street was empty, with No sign of Axel or the rogue
dogs. Just Blood puddles and twitching lights— Coated with blood making the lighting more bloody than Koda would've liked.

Koda sat down,

It was their fault that Axel was gone.

Koda shook their head, They need to work on thinking positively As if that would happen of course. BARK! The distant barking made Koda shiver. They ran straight back into the alleyway and hid behind a bin. A Banana skin fell on their head.

''Gross...'', As Koda gently shifted the smelly banana skin off their head, They sighed and closed their eyes. They just wanted to sleep, Forever.

As Koda opened their eyes, sounds started to drift into their torn ears. Lots of different sounds started to surround them, Like a wall, Squishing them closer to the bin. They were in a completely different universe— Or a place? Koda wasn't too sure about it.

They stood up and sniffed the air. Different scents filled their nose. It was so overwhelming but Koda had to find out where they were.

They trotted out of the alleyway. It had an assortment of different scents, Sounds, and buildings that overwhelmed them even more. They just wanted to curl up and cry but there wasn't anything Koda could do.

''BEEP! Hello there!''

Koda's ears perked up, It was a voice— But it sounded unfamiliar. Koda turned around and saw a small little robot flying with a collar hanging from it. Koda started backing away...

''Don't be afraid, for I am a little collar robot! Are you lost?''

Koda hit the wall And started trying to Pounce on the robot.

Koda tried to pounce on the small Little collar robot but little collar dodged with ease being in the air. Koda growled but there was fear in their mind. Koda needed to find out the little robot's intentions so they crept closer, bearing their teeth and lashing their tail eagerly. The little robot's light started blinking fast. Koda sniffed the collar robot and saw no threat. They turned their back on the small flying robot and headed for the exit, lashing their tail in the small robot's face. Koda trotted away, having no idea where they were. Perhaps it was better if Koda asked the useless robot. But there wasn't any way that was gonna happen, if the robot was in the trash bin where all the dirty banana skins were, the robot was thrown out, useless to any living being. Koda realized, how did they get there anyway?— they were in an empty, small city before this happened. There must've been a portal or something that got Koda here. Koda convinced themselves to go back and ask the stupid little collar robot where they were. They turned back to see where the robot was but they weren't there, they turned back to get out of the alleyway when the robot stopped Koda in their tracks.

''Oh there you are.'' Koda said grumpily, the guilt remaining in their head.

''Oh! Am I needed for anything you desire?'' The robot asked in a high-pitched voice. Koda rolled their eyes but didn't wanna be mean.

''uh, yeah, where are we?'' Koda answered. Koda looked around— the short answer was obvious; they were in an alleyway but The Little Collar Robot came more specifically than Koda had believed that Bruno was dead. Quietly the robot came closer to Koda and whispered in Koda's ear their exact location.

''Galaxy 412, Sun 0001, Earth, Mandela, Mandela capital, Mandela catalog city, address; Helluva cr 69B, Alleyway 4, Boss, beside Trash bin, 'HAZBIN'''

Koda stared at the Robot in astonishment as the robot pulled back from Koda's ear. Koda didn't even understand half of what they said but if they knew that maybe they knew how to get Koda back home.

''Do you know how to get me back home then?'', Koda asked in a quizzed voice. Little collar scanned Koda, reflecting blue lights in Koda's eyes. Koda muttered to themselves a bit. When Little Collar finished they made a small BEEP! Koda Jerked up straight in surprise, They sighed when they realized it was just Little collar.

''Hmmm, Little Koda-''

''Wait— how do you know my name?-'', Koda cut off Little Collar and pinned their ears with their head hung low.

''From my data, it says you were born with the name 'Koda''' Little Colar replied, gesturing closer to Koda but Koda swiped their paw at them, making Little Collar dodge backward.

''Woah! No need to be spicy, I'm just trying to get you back home, isn't that what you want?'' Little collar asked. Koda's ears twitched in annoyance but nodded as there were no other options for finding out how to get home.

''As I was saying before until you rudely interrupted me, Your home is in a different Alternate Universe, the only way to get back is from a Watchers shard''

''And how can I get my paws in this 'Watchers shard'?'' The little collar looked at Koda in a way that seemingly suggested that Koda was insane. ''Are you crazy? No normal mortal being can access that sort of power!''

''THEN HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET HOME? IF YOU AREN'T GONNA HELP I WILL FIND IT MYSELF!'' Koda yelled at Little collar and ran out of the alleyway, which was a really bad idea.

''Wait, Koda!'', Little Collar flew after Koda who was speeding down the empty side path. No human beings were walking down the path. Koda looked to the left. Different Robot cars were flying down the left lane. Koda shook their head and kept running.

''Koda!'' Little Collar called from behind Koda. Koda stopped and Little Collar Flew right past, Unable to stop because they were going too fast. Koda changed directions and Sprinted right into the Road with their claws out. It was a risky move but Koda didn't care. They were beginning to think that If Axel was that desperate to show Koda that Bruno was dead and even Threw Themselves into danger, Bruno really was dead. Koda shook their head, They were thinking crazy! Bruno Was Alive, And Koda knew it!

They drew a deep breath and threw themselves onto a flying car, Using their claws to hang on. The Car gradually went faster, and faster but Koda clung on. There was NO way Little Collar could keep up. Then a wave of guilt rushed over Koda, They had shouted at the poor little robot as they did with Axel. With that feeling in their head, Koda let go slightly. The robot had no feelings! Why was Koda so—

Koda's eyes widened, They almost let go. Koda looked down. It was a complete abyss down there. A part of Koda wished they did not shout at Little Collar and had stayed with Little collar but it was no use dreaming.

Koda Cried a bit. All of this mess was Koda's fault, If only they didn't Insist that Bruno was alive... Koda looked around, They could see the ledge where they had jumped on. Maybe, Just Maybe they could jump back down. Koda shivered. It was far, They looked down forward, But it would be further if they don't jump now.

And with that, Koda jumped.
