When we got to the scene, Sammy pulled up next to us and then walked us over to where Peter was waving from.
"What happened?" Asked Kim.
"Not sure. We have six people dead and four people in custody."
"Makes our job easier." Said Roger.
"Can I borrow Sandrelly?" Asked Francis.
"Yeah sure." Said Sammy.
I walked into the house with Adam by my side as we followed the other coroners into the kitchen.
"They threw a flash bang into the window and then started shooting." Said the coroner.
I looked around the corner to see Francis talking to Sandrelly about some surf board. Sandrelly took it out of the cupboard and found a small note attached.
"It's one of ours." She said.
"I'll call Diego and ask him to check the records. We'll find who this board belongs to." Said Sandrelly.
We walked out of the house and headed straight to the district to question the four people who were at the scene and also start to make a board of the case.
"Part of the drug cartel?" I asked.
"Yeah. These three members are part of the Arctic Angels and the other three are from the Rio Wreckers."
"Okay. What is this whole drug cartel case actually about?" Asked Kevin.
"New drugs are being brought into Brazil and distributed out to the different gangs. Whoever it is, has formed an alliance with all of the gangs to make sure no bad blood is spilled. Something has clearly kicked off and gang wars have started." Explained Hank.
"Possibly stealing drugs from others so they come out on top." Suggested Sammy.
"Yeah. Is there anything about a prize for who sells the most?" Asked Sandrelly.
"Yeah. Whoever sells the most becomes the new dealer and buyer. They will run the whole operation and probably become one of the richest gangs. It's like the hunger games. You take out other gangs until there's only one standing." Said George.
"Okay. The board is owned by Molly Potts." Said Sandrelly.
"The Potts family? Molly wouldn't be caught up in this." Said Roger.
"No but they did move a few weeks back and she said they left the board behind. Diego was supposed to collect it today."
"Okay. Check in with the Potts family, Francis." Order Peter.
"Jay and Adam, you take one of the suspects. Harriet Ludle."
"Sammy and Sandrelly, you take Gary Ludle."
"Kim and Roger, you take John Barnes."
"Kevin and George, take Ria Barnes."
*No One's Pov*
Kevin looked down at Ria, who was a seventeen year old high school drop out.
"So Ria, why are you mixed up in all this?" Asked George.
"I'm not." She said and hung her head low.
"We've got six people dead. I take it three are from your gang, The Arctic Angels. Stupid name by the way." Said Kevin.
"We deal heroin. We haven't got anything to do with this new drug."
"Well that helps a bit. Why were you and John at the house?"
