From Demons to Titans

Chapter 05: New Enemy

Author's POV

Hanji told Eren everything she discovered about the Titan the whole night, which it only cost her at least 20 cups of coffee while Eren looks like he's about to die from lack of sleep.

Hanji: "So far, that's all we've discovered about the Titans."

Eren: "Y-Yeah...."

Then a Scout slam the door open.

Scout: "Captain Hanji! The Titans we've captured! They're all dead!"

Her eyes widen as Eren seemingly woken up. They quickly went to their horses and headed to where the captured Titans is.

When they get there, they only saw the skeletons of the Titans remain.

Hanji(Cry): "Sawney! Bean! Who did this?!"

She starts to cry while screaming in front of the skeleton Titans.

Eld: "They were our valuable test subjects."

Gunther: "Did a soldier did this?"

Eld: "Yeah. But they haven't figure out the culprit. Apparently the Titans were killed at the same time before dawn. By the time the guard noticed, the suspects already escape using ODM gear."

Gunther: "I'm guessing that two people planned this, right?"

Eld: "Maybe."

Then Y/n arrived along with Erwin and they saw Hanji crying and screaming in front of the Titan corpses.

Eren: "How could this happened?"

Levi: "Let's go. This is the Military Police's job to clean up."

He starts to head back to his horse while Eren still look at the Titan corpses.

Erwin: "What do you see?"

Eren look to his left and saw Erwin.

Erwin: "What do you think the enemy is?"

Eren: "Huh?"

Erwin: "..... Sorry. That was a strange thing to ask."

With that, Erwin starts to walk away.

Eren: "Captain, what does the Commander mean?"

Y/n: ".....Nothing to be concern."

He walks away, following Erwin.

Erwin: "What do you think Y/n?"

Y/n: "They're making their move."

Erwin: "Then let's set our counter move."

The Military Police starts to line up all the cadets to check on their ODM equipment, to find the culprit.

MP1: "When did you last replace your shaft?"

Sasha: "Six days ago, after the mop-up operations."

MP2: "The record's confirm."

MP1: "Alright, next."

Krista: "I'm Krista Lenz of the 42nd Squad."

The MP's starts to asked her the same question as they keep inspecting in-line.

Connie: "Whoever the culprit is, they really hated the Titans."

Armin: "Yeah. But they pretty much help the Titans anyway."
