They found out that the killer, named Bang Je-Soo, turned out to be just a coast guard and worked at Mandal not a police officer, he only wore a police uniform. Agent Park said to detectives, "When he was a child, he was abused by his mother and burned with hot water. His mother said that he did poorly on the exam because of the evil spirit. There were two policemen who helped him, but the strange thing was that the boy sided with his mother until the end and he acted aggressively towards the police. And when she was placed in a shelter, he wrote a petition asking for permission to live with his mother again. If this was the case, he committed murder out of a sense of responsibility for being abused by his mother."

Do Kang-Woo says, "Three years ago, he killed the person responsible for his mother's arrest for child abuse."

Agent Park added, "That's right. Bang Je-Soo is a child from the mother who was raped when she devoted herself to religious groups. When the people who raped her were released on probation, he started to hate the police. He has personality disorder and obsessed with his mother. Then his mother was arrested. He was hospitalized for delusional disorder. Bang Je-Soo went to the hospital as soon as he graduated from college and brought him back."

Do Kang-Woo started to interrogate Bang Je-Soo. "What's your reason for surrendering?" His voice was intimidating but Bang Je-Soo just smirk at him.

"The reason? I'm here to atone for my crimes. Jung Hye Ryun is the daughter of Jung Jin-Chul, the detective who sent my mother to the Mental Hospital. Koo Ji-Hye is a nurse who treats my mother harshly. Lastly, I punished Na Hyung-Joon for interfering in my life. Then I started to mutilating and collecting the body parts of a policeman, one of which is Jang Gyeong-Hak."

He wanted to hit him but the other detectives held him back. The rest of detectives investigated him for more further and transfer him to prison.

3 days later

Kang Kwon-Joo started back to work. In the morning, he was scolded by Do Kang-Woo, "I told you to rest for a few days again."

"You know, I can't" She laughs. He sighs, "Okay, but I need to tell you something."

"What it is?"

"It's about what happened three years ago. Hyung-Joon was the first to actually reach out his hand to me. While we were investigating suddenly someone killed Hyung-Joon. In order to uncover the truth, I started investigating the case myself. Then I finally joined your team." He sniffled between words and his eyes red."

She hugs him tightly as she patted to the back of his head, "It's okay you have us. You have me. Thank you for being honest with me." She can feel his tears start to stream down his cheek. "Even though there were problems in the beginning, but I never doubted that you were honest from day one, Team Leader Do."

Their relationship began to grow even more.
