ᴘʀᴏʟᴏɢᴜᴇ

UP IN THE MOUNTAINS a young boy was putting char coal in his basket ready to go down the mountain and sell them. His mother call out to him while taking out a cloth. "Tanjiro." He turn his attention to her.

"You're face is all black, come over here." He did as he was told as she began cleaning his face." Because it's dangerous when the snow is falling, it's okay if you don't go."

But he protested. "It's almost the new year, and everyone wents to eat to their harts content. I'll only sell a little char coal."

"Thank you."

His siblings came behind their mother excitingly. "Nii-chan, you're going to the village today?" His brother asked.

"I want to go too!" His little sister said clinging on to his green checkered haori. They began pestering him to take them with him but their mother stopped them.

"No. You can't walk as fast as Tanijro can."

"But mom."

"No. He won't be able to pull the cart today. So you won't be able to rest while he carries you."

Tanjiro called his brother. The family's second eldest brother to chop a few trees until he gets back. He pouts and looked away.

"I guess I could. I thought we would have done it together."

They all laughed at his cuteness. Tanjiro started walking while his family waved at him which he reflected back.

While he was walking down the mountain he run into both his sister, Nezuko Kamado and love interest, Masumi Kohana. She had large lilac colored eyes framed by thick eyelashes. She has long grey-tinted purple hair that fades to white braided at the back.

"Nii-chan." His little sister also known as the eldest sister in the Kamado family greeted him while having the youngest brother of the family resting on her back."Nezuko, Masumi."

"Hey, Tanjiro." Masumi greeted while giving Tanjiro a closed eyes smile that made the young boy's heart flutter.

"I just lulled Rokuda to sleep... because he'll start making an uproar. And another thing Masumi's grandmother allowed her to stay with us for a sleepover. Isn't that exciting?"
