Draco just bought his own house and is now moving in; he's unpacking all his belongings when he finds an envelope at the bottom of one of his bags, turning it around he holds back tears when he recognizes the handwriting. He sits down on the floor and looks at the letter, just like he did 2 years ago. Not knowing what to do, he decides to go to Ron and Hermione's place, he and Hermione became even closer after Harry's death and after a while, Ron joined in on the friendship, eventually dating Hermione. He holds onto the letter tightly and apparates to Ron and Hermione's house, he ends up at their doorstep and rings the bell. He hears people mumbling something from inside, before the door opens to reveal Ron.
'I didn't know you were coming over,' he says surprised.
'Come on in, mate.'
Draco follows Ron to the living room, where Hermione is sat. When she sees him, she stands up and walks over to Draco, giving him a hug.
'Draco, how are you?' she asks him after breaking the hug.
He doesn't say anything, Draco just shoves the letter into Hermione's hands. She looks confused and looks down to the letter when she recognizes Harry's handwriting.
'Harry,' she whispers.
'You didn't read it yet?'
'No, I- I couldn't,' Draco answers.
'I was unpacking when I found it, I didn't know what to do, so I came here.'
'Do you want to read it?' Ron asks.
'I don't know,' he mumbles.
'What if reading it is going to make me miss him even more? What if the letter says that he actually hated me and killing himself was just his way of breaking up with me? What if-'
'Draco, Harry adored you, there is no way he hated you,' Hermione cuts him off.
'Besides, if you don't read it now, I'm afraid you're never going to stop thinking about it.'
'Yeah, you're right, I should read it.'
'Okay, sit down.'
Hermione hands the letter back to Draco, who then opens it and starts reading. When he's finished tears are flooding down his cheeks, memories are drowning his thoughts and he feels paralyzed. Hermione wraps her arms around Draco and mumbles comforting words in his ears, Ron simply sits there, looking at him, remembering Harry. After a while Draco gets back to reality and realizes Harry just told him he loved him, he slightly smiles to himself and whispers the last words he'll ever say to Harry, before letting him go.
'I love you too.'
