Behind Their Sleeves

Chapter 11

Harry is first to wake up the next morning and slowly gets out of bed, careful not to wake Draco up, and goes to the bathroom for a shower. He undresses and looks in the mirror, wincing at the sight, he sees how skinny he is, how you can see his bones poking out, he sees the scars, the ones made by him, and the ones made by his uncle. He remembers the pain he felt when his uncle beat him for the first time, he remembers thinking he was going to die. Harry quickly turns his gaze away from the mirror and steps in the shower, turning the water on. 

'Harry, are you okay in there?' he hears Draco asking from outside the door.

'Yeah, just having a shower,' he replies.

'Okay, call me when you need anything,' Draco tells him.

Half an hour later, Harry exits the bathroom, his hair nice and fluffy (he blow-dried it or used a spell or something you chose lol) and looks at Draco, who's sitting on the bed, waiting for Harry.

'Finally, that took ages,' Draco sighs.

'Shut up, Malfoy,' Harry laughs.

Draco gets up and together they walk to the kitchen, they sit down across from Snape and start eating. I have DADA first period, so there's no way Snape can watch me there. Harry thinks. If I just eat everything now, I can go to the bathroom during DADA and throw it all up. He figures. As Harry eats, Snape looks at him with a questioning look in his eyes but shrugs it off as the boy just being hungry after not having eaten for a week. When they're all done, Snape cleans everything up and escorts Harry and Draco to DADA. They sit down next to each other in the back of the classroom as Snape walks to the front and mutters something to Professor Lupin, who glances at Harry and nods. 

'I will see you at lunch,' he tells the two boys, before leaving and going back to the dungeons. 

Slowly students start filling up the classroom and Ron and Hermione enter as well, Hermione spots Harry and gives him a quick nod, telling him that they'll be there after lunch. A minute later Pansy and Blaise walk in the room and sit in front of Harry and Draco. Pansy turns around and looks at Draco.

'Where have you been, Draco?' she asks him.
'I haven't seen you in a few days.'

'I was with Snape,' he mumbles.

Pansy nods and moves her gaze to Harry.

'So, Potter, are the rumors true? Does the Golden Boy have an eating disorder?' 

'Leave him alone, Parkinson,' Draco sneers.

'What, are you two best buddies now?' she scoffs.
'Now I think about it, it does seem a little weird, doesn't it? That you and Potter both haven't been spotted since Wednesday?' (this isn't entirely correct, since Draco and Harry walked through the corridors like once and Harry went to the hospital wing, but just ignore that for my sake please)
'Is there some kind of thing going on between-'

'Alright class, everyone's here, so let's get started,' Lupin interrupts everybody's conversations.
'Today you will be facing a boggart, can someone tell me what a boggart is?'

Like always, Hermione's hand shoots up in the air and she explains it perfectly.

'Well done, 10 points to Gryffindor,' he announces.
'Now I'll be choosing people to come forwards and face the boggart, but before that you obviously need to know how to defeat one.'
'To repel a boggart, you need to use the spell Riddikulus, now repeat after me, without wands, Riddikulus.'

The class repeats it a couple of times, before Lupin decides it's time to face the actual boggart.

'Alright, now I will be-' Lupin stops when he sees Harry's hand in the air.
'Yes, Mr. Potter?'
