The two boys turn around to the sound to see Hermione standing there, with her mouth wide open.

'Seriously?' she yells.
'Out of everyone, Malfoy?'
'The one who called me a mudblood, the one who has been bullying us since first year!' she exclaims.

Harry opens his mouth to say something, but Hermione stops him.

'No, save it Harry.'
'I do not want to hear it,' she sneers before leaving the corridor in which Harry and Draco were hiding.

'Fuck,' Harry mutters, he turns to the boy behind him and notices Draco's having a panic attack.
'Hey, breathe with me alright?' he says as he puts Draco's hands on his stomach and chest so he can feel Harry's heartbeat and breathing pattern.
'Follow my breathing,' he instructs, and Draco does just that.

After a while Draco's breathing is back to normal and Harry pulls him into the third hug of that day.

----------time skip----------

It's almost three weeks after the incident and Ron and Hermione are still avoiding Harry, even with his useless attempts of trying to talk to them. These past weeks Harry found himself on the bathroom floor with a blade in his hand more times than he can count, but Draco had made it easier, easier to put the blade back down, easier to open up to Professor Snape about his struggles and easier to live.

At least, that's what he thought, nonetheless Harry finds himself standing at the edge of the Astronomy Tower in the middle of the night with no intention of making it out alive. Blood is dripping from his arms as he makes his way to the other side of the railing, Harry doesn't think he has ever held something as tight as he's holding the railing right now. He's ready to let go when he feels hands wrap around his chest and pull him back over the railing.

'No,' he mutters.
'No, let me die.'

'I can't do that, Harry,' says the person, who Harry now identifies as Snape and who is still holding onto the boy, not trusting him enough to let go.

'No, you can, you wouldn't care if I died, no one would, please just let me go,' he begs.

'Harry, I care and so does Draco, he's the one who woke me up tonight because he felt like something was wrong, he is the one who told me to check on you.'
'If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have been able to stop you, Harry.'

'I wish you wouldn't have been able to stop me,' Harry whispers.

Snape breaks the hug, still holding onto the boy's wrist, noticing the blood dripping on the floor. Without a word he rolls up Harry's sleeves and heals the fresh cuts.

'Come on, Harry, let's go to my chambers, Draco is waiting there for you,' he says.

Harry nods and follows the man all the way down to the dungeons. Snape opens the door to his room and pushes Harry, who is standing completely still in the doorway, inside. On the couch right in front of him, sits Draco, who is fidgeting slightly with his rings. He looks up to Harry and practically jumps on top of the boy, tears streaming down his face.

'I'm so glad you're okay,' he sobs.
'I was so worried.'

Draco breaks the hug and looks at Snape, who made his way over to the corner of the room, to make some tea.

'What happened?' he asks.

'I think it's best if you sit down for that,' Snape answers, setting down the cups of tea on the small table in front of the couch.

They sit down, Snape on the left with a cup of tea in his hands, Draco in the middle, waiting for Snape to explain and Harry on the far right, not daring to meet anyone's eyes.

'Harry, do you want to tell Draco, or do you want me to do it?' Snape asks the boy.

'You,' he answers.

'Alright,' Snape says, turning his gaze back to Draco.
'I found Harry on top of the Astronomy Tower... on the wrong side of the railing,' he explains.

Harry hears Draco sucking in a breath beside him.

'He would've been dead if it wasn't for you, Draco.'
'You saved his life.'

Harry feels an arm pulling him closer to Draco and holding him tightly.

'Tomorrow morning, I will figure out what to do, but for now I want you two to go to bed,' Snape tells them.
'You will be excused for all classes tomorrow, so don't worry about that.'

'But Harry can't be alone, right?' Draco questions.

'No, he can't, that's why he will be sleeping in my spare bedroom,' the professor explains.

'Can I stay with him?' Draco asks.

'It's a double bed, so if Harry is okay with that, I guess you can stay with him.'

They both look at Harry, waiting for an answer.

'Oh, um yeah, that's okay,' he answers.

'Alright, I'll lead you two to the bedroom.'

Both boys follow Snape down the corridor, to the room in which they will be staying tonight. There's a bed against the back wall, a desk in the left corner and a door to the bathroom on the right.

'My room is right across the hall, so if you need anything, that's where I'll be,' Snape says.
'Goodnight.'

'Goodnight,' Harry and Draco reply in sync.

Snape closes the door behind him, leaving the two boys alone. Harry feels Draco's eyes on his back.

'I don't want to talk about it right now,' he mutters.

'I wasn't planning on it,' Draco says with a mischievous smile.

'What-' Harry gets cut off by Draco, who pushes the boy against the wall and kisses him.

Draco breaks the kiss and quickly puts a silencing charm on the room, before pushing his lips back against Harry's. He licks Harry's bottom lip and Harry opens his mouth, allowing Draco's tongue to enter. Harry pulls off his shirt, Draco notices how skinny the boy is, but not wanting to ruin this moment like last time, decides not to say anything about it. Harry does the same with Draco's shirt and moves them over to the bed, he pushes Draco down and sits on top of him, kissing the boy violently. Draco grabs Harry's hair as Harry starts sucking on his sweet spot, making him moan. They turn around, so that Draco's on top. He starts kissing Harry's neck and makes his way to his chest,  Harry digs his nails into Draco's shoulders and moans as Draco sucks on his nipples. They kiss each other one last time before deciding it's enough for tonight and laying down next to each other. Draco wraps his arms around Harry, and they fall asleep in the same position.
