Chapter 5

A/N: Tyla and Kilani's outfit in the mm.

Kilani.
I woke up and checked my phone to see it was 11:00.
"Shit!" I cursed myself. I only had an hour to get ready. I jumped in the shower and put on the outfit me and Jace brought last week or so. I flipped the front of my curly hair to one side and put on my peach heels and gold ring. I grabbed my coral clutch and phone and ran as fast as I could and hopped in my car. I pulled up to the doctors office and ran inside as fast as I could with these heels on.
"Hey Sarah" I smiled to her at the front desk out of breath.
"Hey Kilani, you just in time. Dr.Mary is ready for you. I smiled thanking her and walked to the back.
"Hello Kilani. Take a seat. You look nice" she smiled
"Hi Dr.Mary, thank you" I said sitting down.
"How are you?" She asked getting out her notepad
"Not so good" I mumbled
"Explain" she smiled. I started telling her everything from when I first met Kai'Jai until now. By the time I was done telling her I was in tears. "Here honey" she said softly handing me some tissue
"Thank you" I mumbled
"Its seems as if you have a lot of emotions going on" She sighed
"Yeah..." I slightly answered
"Have you been taking your medication?" She asked
"Yeah..Ive been taking it everyday as before now" I mumbled
"No Suicidal thoughts?"' She asked looking up at me
"Um some, but I shake them off" I shrugged
"Okay well Im gonna give you a list of suggestions for when you have these thoughts" she said handing me a piece of paper
"Thank you so much" I smiled sticking the paper in my purse
"No problem honey, have a good day" she smiled walking out of her office. I gathered my things and hopped in my car and drove to Tropical Smoothie and got me a smoothie and Tyla one, forget Kai'Jai. I sped off to Macys and parked. I walked up to the store too see Tyla standing there with Kai'Jai.
"Kilaniii!!" She yelled running over to me
"Hey TyTy" I laughed hugging her and trying not to drop the smoothies.
"Is this mine?!" She yelled looking at one of the smoothies in my hand
"Yes ma'am" I smiled handing her the strawberry smoothie.
"Thank youu" she sang
"No problem" I laughed
"C'mon" she said pulling me towards the store
"Hey Kilani" Kai'Jai mumbled
"Hello" I said turning my attention toward Tyla. I didnt have time for him today.
"You ready?!" I asked excited
"Yesss!" She said jumping up and down
"C'mon" I laughed pulling her in the store. "Ooo try this!" I yelled throwing dresses at her. Me amd Tyla ran around the store grabbing dresses while Kai'Jai trailed behind putting in little input.
"I think I should try these on" she laughed
"Yes! Go!" I yelled pushing her towards the dressing room. I laughed and waited for her to come out in her first dress drinking my smoothie.
"How are you?" I heard Kai'Jai mumble. I looked over at him to see he was talking to me
"Fine" I mumbled turning my head towards Tyla's room.
"Look Kilani I think we need to talk" I heard him sigh.
"I think we dont Kai'Jai. I came here for Tyla no one else" I said quickly
"Kilani--" he started but was cut off by Tyla coming out.
"Ta-daaa" she sang spinning around. It was a baby yellow dress with a see thru corset stomach and a sweetheart neckline with diamonds and shorter in the front.
"Oh okay! Okay! I see you!" I yelled
"Nu uh. Too much showing" Kai'Jai shook his head
"Kai'Jaiiii" she whined
"Dont Kai'Jai me. Go try something else on Tyla" he snapped
"Hmph" she stomped back into the dressing room. I sat quietly on my phone waitinf for Tyla when a text popped up on my phone.
Gabe😅💓-"Hey Lani😌". I smiled and texted him back
-"hey Gabe👋😄" I texted back and locked my phone.
"What you smiling so hard fa?" Kai'Jai asked
"None of ya bussiness thats what" I snapped
"Mane Kilani. Im tryna be mellow with you but you pushing my limits" he spat
"Nobody asked you to be mellow with me. Now if uou excuse me I wanna see what Tyla's wearing" I snapped turning my body from him.
"I dont really care for it" Tyla frowned coming out. It was a blue green sweetheart neckline dress with diamonds studded all around and it was all frilly and long.
"Its not the best" I shrugged
"I like it. You still look like a kid" Kai'Jai nodded
"Im not a kid Kai'Jai" Tyla groaned
"Alright well dont get it if you dont like it" he shrugged. Tyla smiled and nodded and went back into the dressing room.
"I love it! It perfect!" Tyla yelled coming it. She was right it was perfect for her. It was a hot pink dress with a deep cut sweetheart neckline with a studded belt around and it was long with a high slit up the side but looked like it had a shorter dress under.
"estás preciosa!" I yelled clapping my hands making her spin around.
"Is that good?" She asked smiling
"It means you look beautiful honey" I smiled hugging her. She started at herself for a while in the mirror until she turned around realizing Kai'Jai hadnt said anything.
"Kai'Jai?" She asked
"You look beautiful Ty" Kai'Jai smiled giving her a hug. I smiled lightly at how happy she was.
"Is this the dress??" I asked
"Of course!" She yelled
"Yay!! Now lets go so we can get you some shoes and jewelry!" I yelled. She laughed and went to change her clothes. I checked my phone to see I had a text from Gabe.
Gabe😅💓-"what you doing today?"
-"going dress shopping with my my little friend for her formal next week" I texted back and Tyla came out changed snd holding her dress. We walked around the store until we found some shoes.
"These!" I yelled handing her a pair of light pink pumps.
"Perfect!" She yelled grabbing her size. She got some silver diamond studs and hoop earrings since she had two holes and a nice bracelet.
"So you gonna tell Jionni what y'all colors are now?" I asked while Kai'Jai was paying
"Yup I'm gonna tell him when I get home. Also hes coming over Kai'Jai's for dinner Thursday so can you come?" She asked hopefully.
"Of course I can" I smiled.
"Yay!" She yelled hugging me.
"C'mon Tyla you ready?" Kai'Jai asked holding her bags.
"Yeah I guess" She shrugged while we walked out the store.
"Bye Lani" Tyla hugged me as we got outside
"Bye TyTy" I smiled hugging her
"See you Thursday night?" She asked
"Yup" I smiled. She smiled and got in the car. I was walking away until Kai'Jai stopped me grabbing my arm.
"You just not gon say bye?" He asked laughing lightly
"Yeah I am" I said snatching away from him
"Kilani wait! Can we please talk." He begged
"Talk. You got 3 mins" I snapped
"Kilani I'm sorry I treated you like that. I was just feeling some type of way. Im sorry I did that after Ive known what you been through and put your trust into me. You werent a waste of time at all and still arent. Please forgive me Lani. I promise I'll never hurt you again." He said with pleading eyes.
"Kai'Jai you basically said fuck me. You left me broken amd alone. That was the first time in years since Ive been that hurt and felt like i wanted to harm myself. I had to start taking my medicatiom everyday and I still do. Its not that easy to forgive like that" I sighed feeling tears in my eyes
"I know its not easy Kilani, but please forgive me. I wanna make things right. I really like and care for you so much it hurts. I could never forgive myself for how I reacted. Just please forgive me" he begged wiping my tears.
"....okay. My doctor taught me I need to forgive and not hold on to things that arent really serious or It'll make things worse in my life" I sighed
"So you forgive me?!" He yelled excited
"Yes." I smiled lightly. He smiled big and picked me up spinning me around and kissed me. I missed his touch and kiss so much. He set me down and gave me one last peck on my lips.
"Yayyy! Finally! You guys on "bae" terms again!" Tyla yelled sticking her head out the window with her phone
"Did you record that?" I asked laughing
"Yes! And im so glad you two good now cause now Kai'Jai wont have that funky lil attitude everytime hes around or in his feelings and stuff" she laughed
"Shut up Tyla" he groaned
"Awhh. You were in your feelings over me" I cooed
"Mane shut up. You were in yours too" he laughed
"I know, but I should get going. I need to check on Jace and actually help her since Im better now.
"Okay, but Lani we needa talk" he mumbled. I nodded silently knowing what he wanted to talk about. "Oh! Lani! You look beautfiful!" He yelled hopping in the car and driving off leaving me standing there like an idiot smiling. I hopped in my car and drove to Jace house. She an appointment tomorrow and she would be a month so I was staying with her tonight and took tomorrow off.
"Open the doorrr!" I sang banging on her door.
"You childish" she mumbled with a mug and letting me in.
"Yeah I know" I shrugged smiling
"What you so happy for?" She asked sitting on the couch beside me.
"Well---" i started telling her about Gabe then me and Kai'Jai.
"Awhhh Im glad yall good again cause it was hurting me seeing you walk around here everyday looking like a lost puppy" she smiled
"Yeah I know I know" i sighed
"What you gonna do about Gabe?" She asked
"Nothing. Were just friends, catching up on lost time" I shrugged
"Mhm okay. Dont get caught up" she smirked
"Whatever, you ready for your appointment tomorrow?" I asked smiling
"Yeah a little nervous but im okay" she shrugged lightly
"Well im here for you every step of the boo. Imma be that babies second momma" i smiled hugging her
"Thanks" she smiled hugging me back.
"I wanna watch a movie" I groaned standing up
"What you wanna watch?"
"Ummm Carrie" I shrugged. She nodded and pointed to where the movie was and I put it in. We were laughing and talking while watching the movie when the doorbell rang.
"Cominggg" Jace sang. She was slowly turning back into her old self. "Khalil?! What the fuck you want!?" She yelled
"I need something I left here" he mumbled
"What the fuck is it?" Jace snapped.
"Dont worry about it. Just lemme get it and Ill leave" he sighed
"You are not welcomed in my house. Ill get it" she snapped. I stood up and walked over to the door mugginh the shit outta him.
"Mane Jace just lemme get my shit!" He yelled
"Obviously she doesnt want you in her house!" I finally yelled
"Dammit Jace! Can you just give me my shit!" He yelled
"What shit Khalil!" Jace yelled
"You know what fuck it!" He yelled storming away.
"Dont bring yo ass back here either!" Jace yelled slamming the door.
"Jace relax. Hes mot worth it" I mumbled rubbing her back
"I know Im fine" she said giving me a short smile. "Im getting im the shower. Ill be back" she said skipping upstairs. I smiled and plopped down on the couch checking my phone.
Gabe😅💓-"you done?" A text from Gabe said
-"yeah. Im at Jace house now" I texted back
Gabe😅💓-"yall still bestfriends?" He texted back right away.
-"yep. Never leave each others sides"
Gabe😅💓-"thats good, what you doing tomorrow?"
-"um going to Jace doctor appointment with her"
Gabe😅💓-"why you going with her?"
-"support. 1month appointment"
Gabe😅💓-"shes pregnant??"
-"yeah 1 month tomorrow"
Gabe😅💓-"tell her i said congrats!😄"
-"ill tell her" i texted back smiling
Gabe😅💓-"what you doing after?"
-"um not sure yet why?"
Gabe😅💓-"just askin, but lemme text you back later. I gotta give Brina a bath"
-"kay😌" I texted back and set my phone down. Jace came down im some sweats and a tank top.
"Gabe said Congrats" I said smiling at Jace as she sat om the couch.
"Awe Thank you." She smiled rubbing her flat stoamch.
"Im going to bed or I wont get up in the morning. Its late" I laughed truding upstairs to Jace bed.
"Old lady" Jace laughed turning on the TV downstiars. I got in Jace bed and fell asleep as soon as I hit in sheets.
