I was on my computer and checked the time.
"2:14am... Shit.. It's really late. This monster isn't helping." I say to myself. But I have to finish my homework..
I hear footsteps moving closer so I turn off the brightness on my computer, but not the screen, as to not lose all my progress. I crawl into bed as not to make a lot of noise. I hear a knock on my bedroom door, so I pretend to be asleep. I hear the door open and peep at the door expecting to see my mum. But I saw nothing..
"Mum must've left already." I think to myself, as I try to shake the feeling of being watched away. As I go back to my researching, I see an ad pop up on google.
"What the fuck is "Dream-core"?" I whisper as I click the ad. I grab a pen and paper as I read about it, I write everything down, it's 3:06am. I take my old cork board and pins out of my cupboard and hang it on the wall of my desk. I print out a bunch of photos of dreamcore and pin those to the board, with my favorite in the middle, as well as the things I wrote down. I'm really tired after all of that and decide to go to bed. as soon as I put my head on the pillow I'm out. I wake up at 3:30 am for no reason. I get up to get a drink of water. when I go back into my room with my glass of water, I see the picture and piece of writing sitting on my bed, with an eery glow around them. As I pick them up, my sight begins to spin. As the spinning gets faster I begin to fall. I hit my head on my door nob, but it doesn't make a noise. When I open my eyes, I'm in my bed, but I see a glowing rectangle on my wall. I get out of bed and look outside. It looks normal. I go over to the weird glowing area. It seems to get smaller the closer I get to it. But when I get to it I can just fit inside it. I go through it and I'm in my room again. But this time, the sky is a deep red. As I'm looking through the window I realize I'm not in my town anymore.. It looks strange.. Almost like a dream.. Or a nightmare..
