TAKEMICHI’S POV
“HINA!!”, I shouted as I ran towards her car. “Takemichi?”. Turning around I looked inside the truck as the same voice called me. “Why aren’t you in the car?”. “No…… Why are you!”, I whispered as I saw Akkun’s bloody face. This is just like last time. “I’m one of Kisaki’s soldiers now. Everyone in Toman follows Kisaki’s orders”. Why?….. Why again!? “Why’d you do this to Hina…?! Aren’t you a beautician now?! Toman shouldn’t have anything to do with this!!”. “I’m too scared….. all I can do….. is whatever Kisaki…..”. Stop it…… “Save them all. Our crybaby hero….. and save Xeno from being their slave…..please”. “Stop it!”, I burst out as I couldn’t take it anymore. “You told me this already!! It’s exactly the same!! Nothings changed at all!! But it should have!!”.
*BOOOOM!!!*
I was thrown back because of an explosion. Realising Hina was still in the car, I ran to try and save her. Looking through the window, I saw her sitting there with blood rolling down her face, as everything around her was crushed. She’s alive! “Sit tight! I’ll get you outta there right now!!”. Breaking through the glass, I held my hand out for her to take. “The fires spreading!! We gotta go, now!!”. “…. Takemichi-Kun”. “Hina! There’s no time to talk. This car’s about to explode!!”. “Thank you”, she softly said as I tried to get her out. “You can thank me later!! HURRY!!”. “I can’t…… I can’t feel my legs”. Holding back a wave of tears, I leaned in and hugged her head as the tears started to come. “Since years ago…. And from now and beyond… I have always…. And will always… love you!!”. “…I’m glad…. Leave now…. Please…. I don’t want someone so precious…… to die with me”. “Never”, I spat but just as I was about to start digging her out, she pushed me out of the car, before the car went up in spontaneous flames.
Sitting on the pavement, I curled up and let out a grief filled shout. “AAAAAHHHHH!! I’LL SAVE YOU HIN, I SWEAR! No matter how many times I fail! No matter how many tries it takes! I’ll never quit! Not until I reach a future…… where you’re saved!”. And in that moment, I decided to become the top guy in Toman.
“Hmmm. Looks like we failed……. And guess who will receive Kisaki’s rage?”, questioned Hanma as he wrapped a hand the future Xeno’s throat with a sickening smirk. “But don’t worry………. I’ll make you feel all better once he’s done……… now let’s get back to the headquarters. I’m sure everyone wants to see you again”.
