Ending Up Here

Chapter 5

When I wake up, I see Calum sitting on the corner of my bed. "Good Morning beautiful" he says. His words always make me blush. I look over at the clock and see that its already 12:00 in the afternoon. Cal must've already had his meeting with his manager.

"I have something I need to show you Maddie." he says. He pulls a magazine from under him and shows me that we are on the front cover along with the title "Calum's New Mystery Girl". "What the hell?". The paparazzi must've gotten a picture of us yesterday. I guess its no big deal. Calum also tells me that they are leaving tomorrow. All of the color rushes off my face as I turn pale. I knew it was to good to be true. Of course he has to leave tomorrow.

Calum

I hated having to tell her that. We are having such a good time and now I have to leave. "We can keep in touch. And I will try to call you every night." I tell her. She simply just nodded her head and kept her shoulders hanging low. "Lets go do something fun!" I suggested. This made Maddie happy.

Madalyn
I decided to just wear my hair in a quick bun with a long t shirt and leggings. Calum suggested that we go to the Aquarium and I agreed. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible before he leaves. "Bye Jordan!" I yelled as I grabbed my room key as Calum and I slipped out the door. We made our way downstairs to the lobby and Calum put on his usual disguise of a beanie with Ray Bans surprisingly, there were no new reporters around so we decided to walk to get to the Aquarium. Calum and I talked about the tour and other things.

Within 15 minutes Calum and I got to the Aquarium. I insisted on paying since he payed for lunch the other day but he swiped his card anyways. Cal intertwined his fingers with mine as we walked over to the first exhibit. This is the happiest I've been in a long time and its all going to be gone now. I pushed the thought of him moving to the back of my head as we walked over to the sting rays. This exhibit has always been my favorite since I was little, since we got to touch them. Calum looked terrified as I took his hand and put it in the water and guided it to a sting ray. He smiled at me nervously as he took his free hand and touched my cheek to kiss me. After what seemed like minutes we parted and walked over to the washing area to wash our hands.

Calum
I didn't want to leave her. This is the happiest I have been with a girl ever. When could I find someone so special again? It was hard to say because there were always girls on tour throwing themselves at me. It was hard not to accept their request and I was starting to question if I could be with Maddie while I was on tour.

Of course I can. I thought.
If I liked her that much, Its possible.

We left the Aquarium and decided to go walk again. There were some Jazz Bands out in the park as we were walking through. One of the men were playing a song I didn't recognize, it wasn't until Maddie started singing when I knew what the song was. I watched as she sang the words to the beat of the song "people fall in love in mysterious ways". Maddie is an amazing singer and as soon as I said that people gathered around us and started to watch her as she sang the words without effort. I looked over her and all I could think about was staying in this moment forever.
