22 [Christmas? Christmas!]

Peyton's POV

I tried to sneak but of course, Bruna saw me. It was so embarrassing. I'm laying in my bed right now thinking what to tell them or should i tell them? Esp. Mary. Here's what happened. I was just dropping off some stuff, christmas decorations, because i think we can all agree that there's no way in hell there are some decorations in their apartment right? We're gonna celebrate there and we cannot feel the christmas spirit if there's not a thing hanging. Yes they put a tree but thats it. I even fixed it for them, guys smh. Anyways, i was just dropping off some stuff and saw him, Jacob sitting, alone, he was watching a movie, the grinch. And then he offered me to watch with him. We drink, and when alcohol took over. And you know what happened next.

Tonight is Christmas Eve, we are preparing for our dinner. Should i? Should we tell them? I mean, we're not together.. yet. But we already slept together and i think thats a start. We started flirting in texts.

Speaking of text, he texted me now. And we are just in the same room. I looked at him and he winked at me. Wtf.

I flipped him and he mouthed "sure" WTH. I chuckled and mary saw me.

"What?" She asked and looked at me and Jacob. He looked away and talked to Tanner and Xolo.

"Nothing. Jacob's just being silly. Where are we?" I said

She looks at me like that. If you know what i mean. "Put the ham in the oven for about 40 minutes"

I put the ham inside and we continue the other food. Then Bruna opened the door with George, they bought chicken, cake and wine.

"Hiii" Bruna greeted us and we kissed our cheeks.
"Hi girls" George said and walked towards the guys whose apparently making gingerbread.

"We're done with the ham and pasta, i think thats all? Is that all?" Mary asked. She's very stressed. She loves Christmas as much as she loves halloweens.

"Yes i think. We'll just wait for the guys gingerbread man and the ham" I said

Then someone knocked.

"Arent we all complete?" Bruna asked

"I think we are. Hey guys did invite someone?" I asked the guys

"Not me." Jacob
"Not me either" Tanner

We looked at George. "Obviously not me" He said.

"Thats me thats me thats me" Xolo said running while fixing his hair.

I grabbed his arms and said "You invited someone and didnt tell us?"

"It was last minute. Sorry. You'll like her anyway i promise" He said and removed his arms and opened the door.

"Hi" A woman said. We cant see her.
"Hi, come in" Xolo said and now we can see her.

Brunette with a little blonde highlights, not so tall but its alright. She's gorgeous, definitely Xolo's type. All of us walked to her and Xolo introduced us.

"Erin, this is my friends. Bruna, Peyton, Mary, Tanner, Jacob and George" He said

"Hi Erin" We all said.
"Hi guys. Sorry to barged in on your Christmas" She said

I don't feel her. Somethings off. But you know what they say, dont judge a book by what she's pretty nvm. But i cannot judge her, i just met her. We just met her. I/we should give her a chance.

"No its okay, you're welcome here. Any friend of Xolo is our friend" Jacob said and i looked at him. Then he smiled at me. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Jacob's right." Tanner said

"I third" George

"Yes you're very much welcome" Mary said

"Agree" Bruna and they looked at me.

"Yeah yeah of course" I said

After the introduction, the guys went back on making the goodies for half an hour because its not too much. Then we prepared the table. Erin's bringing wine too, i forgot to mention.

At midnight, we sat on the table and we thank God. We all are talking together, i don't understand a thing. Jacob talks to me.

"Hey you're quiet. You okay?" He asked
"Im not and yes i am." I replied
"Are you thinking about telling them?" Jacob whispered then i looked at him.

I nodded and he smiled. "When we're exchanging gifts, we're gonna tell them" and i smiled.

After eating, us girls fixed the table and dishes. And the guys are just talking. They helped some but we did the most. Mary and Erin are talking, what are they bffs now?

"Hey" Bruna said and looked at them too
"Hey" I said still looking at them

She chuckles "Dont worry you will always be Mary's bestie" I looked at her.

"Its not that. Be honest with me, what do you think of her?" I asked

She looked at her again and looked away. "I think.. she's nice. I saw the way Xolo looks at her, i think she's making him happy? Why? You dont like her?"

I sighed. "I dont know. Yeah she's nice lets say that, its just that when i meet someone i know when i can trust them or no and i know if i will like them. Instinct you know. And her? I dont know. I just dont feel her"

"Well thats you and i cant judge you by that. I am like that on people sometimes so i keep my distance, but then it turns out they really are a nice people. Its just me who made a quick judgment" She said

She has a point but no its me. When i feel like something is not right, im usually right.

We didnt give gifts. Because Erin is here and the guys decided (they texted on our group chat) to exchange gifts tomorrow, so Erin will not feel left out. And we all agree. Seeing Mary and Tanner , Bruna and George, and yeah Erin and Xolo, being the happy, i feel so confident telling them about Jacob and I.

I looked at Jacob and nodded. He made a stand and get all their attention,

"Hey guys. Guys!!"

All of us looked at him. He looked at me and offered his hands to join him.

"I have an announcement.. Peyton and I.. are dating." He said and we kissed in front of them

"We know!" They all said

"What?" Jacob said in confusion

I looked at Bruna and she shrugged. Yeah its not her.

"We're not surprised but we are happy for you 2" Tanner said and hugged us

"Its about damn time. Dont screw this up" Xolo said to Jacob and hugged us too

"We are so happy and proud of you both" Bruna said

"I barely know you but i think you're gonna make a cute couple" Erin said

I wanna roll my eyes but i cant because they are looking so i just faked smile.

Then Mary hugged me and glared at Jacob. "If you hurt her, i will end you"

"She's serious" Tanner added

"Oh she is dead serious so be a good boy" Xolo added and they chuckled. He looked at Bruna and shrugged at her. I always thought they were gonna end up together but i was wrong. Dont get me wrong, George is really nice and all, but Xolo and Bruna are just different, they have this spark. But it ended before it even started. I wonder what will happen if they did date each other.

I shooked my head we all hugged.

"Merry Christmas Guys. I love you all" Mary said to us and we smiled and raised our glasses and drink.
