Lakshmi woke up in the morning and looked at Rishi sleeping in her arms. She wanted to stay like this forever and never wanted it to end. She was getting a feeling that something was going wrong. She thought it was because of the divorce proceedings tomorrow but she couldn't pacify that negative feeling. She had assured Rishi last night that she would not leave him and they would try to explain everything to Neelam but she knew she never wanted to Rishi to have to choose between her and his mother. He loved his mother too much and she couldn't see him hurt.  She hugged him tighter and stayed that way for sometime. Rishi woke up to see her hugging him and felt his tshirt a little wet. He looked down and saw her face buried in his shoulder. He came out of the hug and saw tears rolling down her cheeks. He quickly got up worried as to what happened to her and why would she be crying early morning. She lied to him and said that she was just happy at being there with him and her heart was full so tears came out. Rishi rubbished her crying saying she was crazy to cry being happy with him. The day passed in a jiffy, with Lakshmi being preoccupied with her thoughts and Rishi went to office. Aayush was nowhere to be seen and he didn't even come to office. Rishi got a call from Neelam asking him to come home early as she had some important work. Both Vir and Rishi headed home. While going back Virendra informed Rishi that Inspector Durga Devi had called and they had caught Balvinder and we're interrogating him for all the crimes he was suspected of. The hotel food poisoning was already proved to be his doing. They were interrogating all the attacks against Lakshmi and how he mentally and physically harassed her and who was his accomplice.
Rishi: Finally, dad finally wo Balvinder pakda gya. Ab hume pata chal jaega ki hamare parivaar ka dushman kon hai, kon hai jo Lakshmi ke peeche pada hai. Atleast ab wo safe rahegi.
Virendra: Haan beta. Wo jo bhi hai usne hamare parivaar ko bahot pareshan kia hai aur sabse jyada kasht to uss bachhi ko dia hai. Kitna kuch sehna pada hai use. Wo jo bhi hai na, I'll make sure use kadi se kadi saza mile. Meri beti ki jaan lene ki koshish ki usne.
They reach home to see Malishka and her family sitting there with Neelam, Karishma and Sonia. Lakshmi came and served snacks and went away somewhere.
Karishma: Look Rishi is here. Ab hum saare baatein ache se discuss karke final kar sakte hai
Virendra: Kya final karna hai
Sonia: Rishi bhai aur Malishka ki shaadi ki baat dad. Ab to kal wo Lakshmi finally hamare ghar se hamesha ke lie out ho jaegi. Hamari life me wapas sab normal ho jaega. To ab to I can't wait to call Malishka my Malishka bhabhi.
Virendra: Shut up soniya. Kya bakwas hai ye sab. Tumlog bhool gye ho kya Rishi Lakshmi se pyar karta hai. Wo usse alag kyu hoga. Kal hi sabke saamne usne apne pyar qubool kia hai aur tumlog ye sab kya kar rhe ho. Neelam what is this
Neelam: Aap rehne dijiye please. Aap to hamesha us Lakshmi ka hi side lete hai. Aur ab to ye Rishi bhi uske changul me fas gya hai. But hum apne bete ke saath kuch galat nai hone denge. Agar aapko yaha ho rhi baaton se problem hai to aap yaha se jaa sakte hain.
Virendra: Tum bahot badi galti kar rhi ho Neelam aur main tumhare iss faisle me tumhare saath nai ho sakta.
Neelam: Aapki marzi hai. Bahu to hamari Malishka hi banegi.
Rishi: Mom please maine aapko kal raat bhi bataya tha main Lakshmi se pyaar karta hoon main nai reh sakta uske bagair.
Neelam (shouts): Shut up Rishi
Everyone comes down hearing her roar, including Lakshmi.
Neelam: Tum ab itne bade ho gye ho ki apni maa ki baat kaatoge. Janam dia hai humne tumhe, jaan ho tum hamari. Aur tum us ladki ke lie humse lad rhe ho, hamare khilaaf jaa rhe ho. Wo ladki apshakun hai, ashubh hai tumhare lie. Uske saath rehke tumhare saath kabhi kuch acha nai hoga. Wo sirf tumhe takleef degi. Hum bardaasht nai kar sakte use bilkul bhi. Maante hai use tumhari zindagi me laane ka faisla hamara tha but hum pehli baar kuch galat kar gye tumhari life ke lie. Tumhe apne itne naazo se paala hai islie nai ki koi ladki aaye aur tumhe humse chheen ke le jaye. Tumhe usse alag hona padega
Rishi: Mom please samajhne ki koshish kariye, main bahot pyaar karta hoon usse. Aur wo mere lie bahot lucky hai. Uske hone se mere saath kuch galat nai ho sakta
Karishma: Rishi kya ho gya hai tumhe. Kya jadoo kar dia hai us Lakshmi ne tumpe. Tum Malishka se pyar karte ho, aur itne time se jaante ho tum dono ek dusre ko. Malishka is the perfect girl for you. Aur wo bhi kitna pyar karti hai tumse.
Malishka and her evil mother are getting happy seeing Neelam and Karishma taking her side.
Neelam: Aur ye pyaar vyaar ka jo bhoot hai na tumhara wo kuch din me chala jaega. Tum usse door rahoge to use bhool jaoge. Aur Malishka hai na wo tumhari perfect partner banegi.
Rishi: Nai mom. Main nai kar sakta ye. Please please aap samajhne ki koshish kariye.
Rishi has tears in his eyes and Lakshmi could not see him in this state. He was fighting for his love with the most important person in his life. He was breaking and she couldn't let that happen. Rishi kneeled down crying. She rushed to his side to hold him.
Neelam: Hum kuch nai sunna chahte..hamara faisla yehi hai. Aur Rishi tumhe ab chunna hoga. Tumhe tumhari mom chahiye ya fir ye Lakshmi..
Rishi couldn't believe what he heard. His own mother had given him a choice he could never make. He couldn't choose between his mother and his love. It was too cruel to expect him to make a choice. He broke down completely
Rishi: (crying) Mom please. Please mom aisa mat kariye. Main kaise. Main nai kar sakta ye.
He kept crying
Neelam: Dekh lia Lakshmi tumhari wajah se kya ho rha hai iss ghar me. Kis tarah hamara beta toot rha hai, ro rha hai. Uske aankho me kabhi aansu nai aane dete the hum aur tumne aake uski zindagi kharab kar di. Maa bete ke beech aa gyi tum. Alag kar dia na hamare bete ko humse.
Neelam also starts crying.
Lakshmi could not bear this. She couldn't look at her love broken like this. She had to be strong for him. She could not let him get seperated from his mother. She knew he would lose himself if he had to make that choice. She had to make the choice for him.
Lakshmi: Nai mummy ji please aap aisa mat kahiye. Aapke aur Rishi ke beech kabhi koi nai aaega aur main to kabhi ye soch bhi nai sakti. Aap jaisa chahti hai waisa hi hoga. Main kal Rishi ko aur iss ghar ko chhor ke chali jaungi. Main door ho jaungi aapke bete ki zindagi se. Agar isse wo safe rahega aur aap uske saath hongi to mujhe ye manzoor hai.
Rishi: Nai nai. Nai mujhe nai rehna tumhare bagair Lakshmi. Kya hai ye. Sab meri zindagi ka faisla kyu lete rehte hai. Mujhe apni zindagi pe koi rights hai ya nai. Ye meri life hai. Main nai karna chahta aap dono me kisi ek ko choose. Mujhe dono chahiye. Main dono ke bagair nai reh sakta.
Lakshmi: Rishi please samjho. Mummyji tumhare baare me hi soch rhi hai. Wo tumse bahot pyaar karti hai. Wo kabhi tumhare saath kuch galat nai hone dengi. Aur hum dono agar saath rahe bhi to kya Bina unke aashirvaad ke unke best wishes ke khush reh payenge. Nai na. Islie Rishi please samjho iss baat ko.
Rishi gets angry and goes from there. Virendra and other family members also leave. Neelam and Karishma ask Kiran to talk to their pandit and find a feasible date for the engagement and other rituals.
In their room, Rishi is standing in the balcony. He couldn't control his tears. Lakshmi comes to him and hugs him but Rishi pushes her away. She tries to hug him again and Rishi breaks down. He hugs her tightly and keeps crying.
Rishi: Lakshmi kyu kia tumne aisa. Tum jaanti ho main tumhare bina nai reh sakta. Itni mushkilo ke baad mili ho tum mujhe. Aur itni jaldi tum mujhse alag ho rhi ho. Kyu Lakshmi kyu kia tumne aisa.
Lakshmi: Rishi main bhi tumhare bina nai reh sakti. Tum sabkuch ho mera. Mere jeene ki wajah ho tum. But Rishi main tumhare aur mummyji ke beech nai aa sakti. Ek maa bete ko alag nai kar sakti main..
Both of them keep hugging each other. No one has dinner that night. Rishmi are too sad to do anything. Rishi is still angry with Lakshmi but he cannot shake off the feeling that it's his last night with her.
Lakshmi comes to him understanding his feelings and starts to sing softly in her melodious voice.

She goes to him holds his hand and hugs him tight. Rishi hugs her back crying. Both of them didn't even feel like getting physical, they just wanted to stay in each other's embrace.

Both lie in the bed still hugging each other. Lakshmi kisses Rishi's cheek wiping his tears. Rishi keeps holding her tight. He didn't want to let her go.

They never thought their love story would be this short. Rishi kissed her lips and tears kept coming from both their eyes. She kissed him back and they were lost in each other. They wanted to preserve this moment. Stop the clock right here so they could be together like this forever. Both of them couldn't imagine a life without each other. They kissed each other multiple times but there was nothing sexual about it. It was a desperate attempt to freeze the moment in their hearts so they could spend their life without each other. They didn't even realise when they slept in the same way hugging and kissing each other. Holding on to the other one for their life.
