Army (Brett talbot)

*Amelia McCall, 19, army*

I walked into the gym that I used to work out in before I got deployed 2 years ago

"I am so dead inside" I muttered as I rubbed my face

"McCall" I heard someone call out

I looked over and saw my old coach mr Davis

"Hey" I lazily replied "lazy bitch" one of the boys with mr Davis muttered

"You aren't normally this tired" Mr Davis said with a chuckle "you have no clue why" "I also might have nearly gotten fired" I added making Mr Davis chuckle

"What did you do" Mr Davis asked "I might have snapped and my general" "what" Mr Davis said shocked

"That asshole had had me working so fucking hard and I got a call from mum and it sounded like she was struggling because dads in town, some shit has happened to the house, Scott and stiles kidnapped a kid a few times and more so" I said

"What have you been working a few hours a day" one of the boys said with a smirk "try a 38 hour shift, 1 1/2 sleep and repeat for 2 weeks" I said angrily "what" Mr Davis said surprised

"Work is hectic with the Russia Ukraine war" I replied "I thought you weren't fighting in that" Mr Davis asked

"I wasn't supposed to be but things change" "I am about to fucking collapse from exhaustion and not wake up for hours no matter what" I said "my legs are jelly but I'm going to work out" "then see my brother" "then be pissed at my dad and fall asleep on Parrish's chair with his jacket because that is the comfiest shit in the world" "then make Stiles cry because he still doesn't know I'm back

*5 hours later*

I walked into the sheriffs station

"Amelia" I heard Stilinski call out "hey" I tiredly before stealing Parrish's seat and jacket and falling straight asleep

*some time later*

I woke up to a hand on my shoulder "fuck off" I groaned "you've been asleep for long enough" I heard Parrish say "no I haven't" I replied as I woke up more

"28 hours is long enough" Parrish told me "fine I'll go home and sleep" I replied as I got up "why are you so tired" Parrish asked "because my hours have been crazy" I replied as I walked out

*2 days later*

I walked into the gym and saw one of the boys that was with me Davis when I last saw him

"Not as tired" the boy asked "after like 40 hours of sleep" I replied with a chuckle "not as much" we chuckled

*1 hour later*

I couldn't be bothered doing a full workout

"You want to go out sometime" I heard the guys say "I don't even know your name" I replied before taking a sip of water

"Brett" he said "fine" I gave him my number then walked out

I chuckled as I heard him catch up to me

"Really" he said with a slight chuckle "if you want to date me get used to it" I opened my car door and put my stuff in before Brett pinned me to it and kissed me

I was half asleep as I wrote this so there are probably a lot of mistakes but can you comment if you're reading these because I don't know if I should keep going if it's not getting read 🙂
