Older McCall (Brett Talbot) PT. 2

I woke up and saw Brett awake "sorry for waking you up" Brett quietly "it's fine" I whispered back

"Are you only letting me live here because you bit me" Brett asked me a little upset "I was going to offer it so you didn't get put in foster care and live with people that you don't know" I told him honestly "thank you" I smiled

"do you want to go to school" I asked "not really" Brett's voice cracked "alright" "I have to drop the others at school" I told Brett "ok" I got up

I walked bathroom with some clothes and got dressed then came out

"you can stay there if you want and order some stuff online instead of going out" Brett nodded in response before I went downstairs

"You guys ready" I asked my pack "yep" Corey replied for the pack before we all walked out and got in the car

"Arden you're walking" I chuckled as Arden blushed "why isn't Brett going" Liam asked rolling his eyes "his whole family just died" Nolan replied

*40 minutes later*

I had dropped Liam, Mason, Corey, Hayden, Nolan and Arden off at school and gotten Brett a christmas bauble

I had gotten home to see Brett asleep again so I pulled the blanket over him then grabbed my panda oodie and my weighted blanket then went downstairs and started watching videos of the times I was babysitting Lori

I got some snacks, a drink and my computer so I could do some work

*2 hours later*

Brett walked downstairs as I was putting on another video "hey" I quietly said "hey" Brett replied sitting on the couch just after I turned the video off

"You can pick a movie" I handed the remotes to Brett before going to to Christmas shopping

"What's your favourite animal" I asked Brett "I've always wanted a French bulldog" Brett answered "thanks" Brett looked at me confused as I went back to my computer

"what" I asked "what are you doing" Brett asked "something" I replied

I went onto the oodie website and put in a bulldog oodie in my cart then got an otter one for Corey, a penguin for Mason, a corgi for Hayden, a dachshund for Liam, a koala for Arden and a Pizza for Nolan then put 7 weighted blankets in my cart

1 for all of them then payed

so glad I own that hairdressing business

"how do you afford this house" Brett pulled me from my thoughts "I own a hairdressing business and a lot of people go there so I've opened up a few shops" I truthfully answered "cool" I nodded

"do you have a bank account" I asked so he could have an allowance "yeah" "why"

"I give the other 6 a weekly allowance" I explained "you live here now so you are getting added to that" I continued "I don't care what you say"

Brett gave me his bank details so I saved it in my phone and transferred the money to everyone
$150 a week is a lot but I don't want them asking me for stuff

*a few hours later*

It was 3 so I had to leave to get the others

"do you want to come pick a christmas tree with us" I asked Brett "what" Brett asked taking his eyes off his phone "we pick a christmas tree tonight so do you want to come" I explained "you sure" "come on"

We got up and walked out to the car

*30 minutes later*

We had picked up everyone and gotten to the christmas tree farm

"let's go find the biggest tree"

I chuckled Hayden, Liam, Corey, Mason, Nolan and Arden all ran off to find the biggest tree leaving Brett and I

"they act like 5 year old around christmas" I chuckled "WE FOUND IT" Brett and I walked over to them

"Liam's already gone to get the guy" Hayden told me "of course he has"

We got the tree

*30 minutes later*

We pulled up home and took the tree inside

"I'll get the decorations" Mason ran away as the rest of us found the spot we wanted the tree to go

"it always looks good next to the fire place" Hayden said "it always goes next to the fireplace" I chuckled

Mason ran back with the decorations "I got them" Mason sat them near the tree so we started decorating

*1 hour later*
We finished decorating "who's doing the star" I asked

Everyone looked at Brett "no" Brett refused "it's easy" Mason told Brett "the human can do it"

Mason climbed up the side of the fireplace and along a little ledge "see" Mason got down "you got this"

Brett climbed up and put the star on top of the tree so we all clapped

"hot chocolate anyone" Mason asked "yep" most of the pack agreed "Brett" Mason said "I think I'm just going to go to bed"

"Night" the pack said "night" Brett replied before going upstairs

"Hot chocolates need to be made" Mason walked to the kitchen

*5 minutes later*

We sat down with our hot chocolate "I am dead inside" I groaned "cheer up it's christmas in 1 and 1/2 weeks" Arden said cheerfully "we put the tree up late" I sighed

"what are you getting us" Mason curiously asked "I'm not telling" it's supposed to be a surprise

*3 hours later*

I'm going to bed" I told everyone "night" the replied before I went upstairs and had a long shower

*30 minutes later*

I sighed and got out of the shower "so cold"

I got dressed and put my oodie on then my weighted blanket "cold" I curled up under my blanket and fell asleep

*the next morning*

I woke up to Brett cuddled up to me so I hugged him back "I should stop coming in here" brett said

"it's fine Brett, I don't know what it feels like to lose our whole family but I had nightmares after my dad left" I told him "really" Brett asked shocked

"the last thing I got from him was getting pushed down the stairs because he was drunk" my voice almost cracked "he hasn't been back in 12 years"

Brett hugged me
