Third Person POV:
Lizzie and Abigail were roommates who didn't know each other. Lizzie decided to go to NYU to finish school, before going back into being an actress. Abby had taken a year before attending college and was now ready to face the true meaning behind hard work. The roommates became inseparable as the days went on freshman year. They did everything together whether it was schoolwork or going to a party.
Sophomore and junior years were the same. Except a couple of weeks after a one-night stand at a party. Abby and Lizzie were both happy and sad when both lines appeared on the pregnancy test. Abby was scared for her life, how was she going to raise a baby when she was only in college? On her own?
At the end of the week, Abby went to see an OBGYN to get confirmation that she was pregnant. She is in fact pregnant and ashamed of it. As a mother of an unborn child, she went and found the father of the child. The conversation they had was definitely not a conversation, it was an argument. He told her to get rid of it after he handed her a wad of cash.
That right there broke Abby, she went home crying to Lizzie looking for comfort.
After 8 long months of college, doctor appointments, and long phone calls. Abby went into labor for 17 hours, to be able to hold her little girl. Y/n Wentworth. Lizzie held her hand through it all. Never wanting to leave her side.
After a couple of weeks, they finished junior year, they had planned the entire summer out they were going to Lizzie's mom's house for the summer. So Y/n could live a semi-normal life in the shadows. Nobody at college knew who Lizzie and Abby really were. Lizzie had well-known sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Lizzie was also known for her small parts in acting here and there. Abby's parents had died before she attended college, but they were CEOs of the highest-paying business in the country.
They only left the house in her name, and she sold it to be able to pay for her senior year at NYU. Everything in the house except for Abby's clothes was sold as well. Jarnie, Lizzie's mom said she was happy to have another girl in the house as well as the baby. She had even said to start calling her mom, and that she would take on the role of grandmother.
That summer was spent enjoying and relaxing. Spending time with Y/n before senior year started before they had to start paying more attention to books than Y/n. When senior year arrived Lizzie ended up taking care of Y/n more because Abby was out working, getting money to pay for Y/n's clothes as she continued to grow out of them.
In all honesty, she was lying she was out partying. Getting high and drunk with the father of her child. First, it was pot then cocaine, and she ended up trying everything. Senior year was a mess Abby was barely able to keep her grades up enough to graduate. When they both finally walked the stage Lizzie was relieved it was over, and Abby was mad that she had to find new places to hang out.
A month after they graduated, Lizzie and Abby got their apartment together with the money that Abby's parents left for after she graduated. Abby saw the money as the best way to her hands on what she craved. Always thinking about when she could go out next and get high. After another month it turned for the worse, Lizzie found Abby dead on her bedroom floor.
After weeks of court cases, attorneys, and judges. Lizzie was now the guardian of Y/n Wentworth-Olsen. She was going to give this little girl the world, even if her mother wasn't around anymore. Lizzie made a decision to move to LA to get back into acting. Bringing Y/n with her and having her around all the time was tough. Lizzie did her best in the first year. At the end of the year, she filmed the post-credit scene with her old castmate Aaron. She had set up a babysitter to come and watch Y/n for the night so she wouldn't have to worry.
When she returned home for the night and couldn't find the sitter or her daughter she was lost. She called and texted the nanny a hundred times trying to figure out where they went, or when they would be back. When the sitter wouldn't return her calls the following day. Lizzie freaked calling her mom and the police.
The next week Lizzie never left her bed. Losing Y/n, she lost her daughter, she couldn't sleep, eat, or breathe for that matter without her daughter. When the police returned with no evidence it took everything for Lizzie to return to work and continue acting as if nothing happened. The days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and months turned into years before Lizzie got this call.
"Hello, this is Madilyn Porter at the London England CPS office I'm looking for Elizabeth Olsen?"
"This is she how can I help you?"
"Miss I believe we have your daughter, her name is Y/n Wentworth-Olsen."
Silence filled the room, Lizzie didn't know what do to it had been 7 years since anyone had a clue as to where she was, and Lizzie was confused because they ruled her case cold almost 6 years ago after the trial went cold.
"Miss, are you still there?"
"Yes, I am here."
"The people here at CPS want to know if you would like to take over being her guardian."
"You don't even have to ask, I will be there in a day or two."
"I'm glad to hear. I will send you the info to meet Joe Walker at the London Hospital. He is Y/n's case worker until you sign the paperwork."
"Thank you so much have a good day."
"You as well"
When the phone hung up Lizzie grabbed her suitcase and flew around her house grabbing items she would need and booking a ticket before getting into her car, and calling her mom.
"They found her, they actually found her I'm on my way to London to sign paperwork before I bring her home."
"Honey calm down for a second and start over, who did they find?"
"Y/n mom, they found Y/n she's in London at the hospital, I'm meeting Joe Walker a gentleman who is watching her until I get legal guardianship of Y/n."
"Honey that's great, I'm so glad my granddaughter is coming home. Go get your girl and come home to New York for a couple of days before you go out to Cali. The twins are home for a few days and I'm sure your father would be happy to see you as well you don't come to New York as much as you used to."
"You spend most of your time in LA anyway so I don't see the point you will be back in LA before you know it and you can come and see Y/n after she has settled in, at my apartment."
"Fine dear, do what you like, but make sure she comes and settles in so I can see my granddaughter and give her a big welcome home."
"I will Mom I'm almost at the airport now so I will text you when I arrive in London."
"Be safe love you."
"Love you more Mom bye."
Ending the call, Lizzie grabbed her bags and started her journey to London to see the one person who meant the world to her.
