I groaned as I woke up.School.Thats all that filled my mind.My summer was over,my escape from people was over.I looked at my clock and it read 6:24.Hopefully moms still asleep.I quietly got out of bed and threw on a blue summery dress.It reached right above my knees.I then added some white stockings and picked out some blue vans.

I quickly grabbed my bag and phone off the dresser.I looked at my messages and my phone was blown up from messages from about everyone at school.I turned off my phone and slowly opened the door knob.I quietly tiptoed to the front door and looked into the living room to see my mom passed out from alcohol again on the couch.I mentally sighed in my head and quietly opened the door and exited.I walked towards my mailbox where the school bus stops everyday.The school bus finally arrives and I spot my friend Zandra in the back.I walked down the aisle towards where she was sitting and sat down next to her.She was too distracted by her phone to notice me.I softly tapped her soldier and she turned towards me. "Hey,why did you dress so formally? Don't you think it's too much for senior year"? She said, looking me up and down.She always criticizes me but I just ignore it and shrug my shoulders.She sighs and goes back to her phone.She then starts telling me about drama with her cousin, something about how her cousin is dating someone famous.I could care less I mentally said in my head.Finally the school bus stopped and everyone got off and headed off towards the building.
