Jinwoo didn't know why he was still waiting, waiting for the person who told him not to wait. And it was very illogical to go wait at Han River because the person he was waiting for was never a fan of the said place. Jinwoo was, Jinwoo is, Jinwoo will always be.

"Excuse me."

He heard that, but he was kind of sure it wasn't for him. He was wearing earphones, albeit wasn't listening to anything. It was just a props to shoo away people before they approached him.

"Excuse me!" And a person was blocking Jinwoo's view of the river. Guess his props didn't work that day.

He tilted his head as he looked at the person in front of him. Jinwoo removed his earphones and nodded a bit to acknowledge him.

"Can I sit down?"

He frowned. Was it only that?

"Uhm..." The stranger bit his lip. "My name is Song Mino." He offered his hand, but Jinwoo was too confused to shake it. The stranger, Mino, awkwardly put his hand back down. "Uhm, I'm an artist."

The word seemed to awaken Jinwoo. "Artist? What kind of artist? An idol? A singer? Actor?"

"Uhm, none of those. I'm a visual artist."

"Oh." Jinwoo's attention drifted again.

"So, the thing is..."

Jinwoo stood up. He felt too tired to keep sitting there. He wanted to go home and sleep.

"Wait!"

"Huh?"

"Wait!" Mino blocked his way this time. "Wait, please can you give me a few more minutes?"

"You're still here?"

Mino blinked. "Uhm... Yes?" He looked so confused too.

"What do you want?"

Mino drew a deep breath before explaining what he wanted - to draw Jinwoo, to make him one of his models for his upcoming and first exhibit in Korea.

The next morning, Jinwoo went back to the Han River, and this time with a goal other than to wait. He easily spotted Song Mino, the artist who wanted to draw him. It was easy because he has a canvas in front of him. He was whistling while preparing his tools too. Painting by the river, hmm, now that he was thinking of it, it does sound fun.

Mino stood up upon seeing him. "Good morning." He smiled. "I brought sandwiches. Would you want some before we start?"

He shook his head. "I'm good. Let's start."

"Really, Jinwoo, thank you for doing this. I really, really appreciate it."

Jinwoo nodded timidly. "Where should I sit?"

"Uhm." Mino asked Jinwoo to sit on one of the benches. "It's really up to you what pose you'd do. The theme of my exhibit is 'Somebody's Day' so just do whatever you think you'd be doing if this is just one of your normal days visiting Han River or something."

"Okay." Before settling down, he got his earphones from his pocket and put them on. Then he sat down, resting his back comfortably on the bench's backrest. Jinwoo closed his eyes, and tried his best to soften his features. Today, he thought, he'd be somebody who's relaxed - still waiting but in the most subtle way.

Because his eyes were closed, he didn't see the way Mino stared at him for a good minute or two before applying the base paint on his canvas.
